In a world where werewolves exist. Power is a dynamic factor between the five nations. Estonia, Andovia, Miletus, Hiroshima and Bulgaria. For decades now Estonia and Andovia have been the most powerful nations, historically providing the strongest werewolves in both size, strength, intellect, wealth and powers. But power must change tides. Bulgaria, a nation where criminals are sent to for punishment, where the scums of the earth reside, a nation identified as the weakest of the five by all. Elsa Oppenheimer, a promising child, is determined to rise above all odds to attain power. Losing her family widened her eyes to the reality and cruelty of society, this begins a journey that will change the course of her life forever. Elsa must create a powerful pack on this journey of vengeance and freedom. After breaking the record of being the first citizen from Bulgaria to be admitted to Sheffield Academy, she faces condemnation and attacks from all over. King Ragnar takes a questioning interest in Elsa and is bent on seeing how far she can go. This new interest creates attention for her both good and bad. The prophecy of a one Empire is perceived to be imminent. Will vengeance lead? Can she break the chains of power? Or will love be her death sentence?
View MoreIt was clear he had no intention of giving up anytime soon and I was starting to get worn out. “Tell me is this any way to treat a lady?” I taunted. “You’re a worthless piece of shit like everyone in this damn country”.
“I might be a piece of shit but I tell you at the end of this fight, I’ll have your head on my paws”
I sprinted forward with a little fear in my mind. I knew this wasn’t just any rogue werewolf, it was ranvir the feared. He was like the boogeyman for kids my age. Ranvir always targeted younger werewolves to kill in the most ruthless manner possible.
He tightened his jaws in anger as I drew nearer. I transformed my right and left hands only into my werewolf self and delivered punch after punch. “How brave of you to face me directly, you must feel you’re blessed by the gods” he laughed hysterically as each punch landed on him. It was clear the hits had impacts but rogue werewolves were crazy, so I wasn’t even surprised seeing this.
I extended my claws and stabbed him in his heed at the bottom of his belly, his eyes widened as blood trickled down his mouth. “Never underestimate or doubt your enemy, nor overestimate her weakness. Your death will bring justice for the many lives you’ve taken in Bulgaria”.
“I think you’ve said enough for your age, lad. Do you really think it’s over!” His eyes exuded darkness as he pounced on me. I removed my claws from him and crossed them to protect myself from his onslaught.
I could hear my muscles scream in pain as blood oozed from my shoulder, at this point I was already reaching my limit and Ranvir though wounded wasn’t showing any sign of stopping.
I knew if I wanted to end this fast, I had to do so with my head. “Oh rogue wolf, how could you maximize such an amount of energy on a little child like myself isn't that unfair?!”. “No, I have to since it turns out you’re a pain in the neck.”
“Now I know why you’re a rogue dog, your cowardice precedes you.” I said with a hoarse voice.
“You don’t know anything lad, I didn’t choose to be an exiled, rogue wolf I was betrayed by my country, my very own people. After everything I did for the alpha he slept with my wife and named me a traitor, as if that wasn’t enough he killed my beautiful kids”
“You might be right, but the deaths you’ve inflicted on others won’t bring back your kids.”
“Kid, the world we live in today doesn’t give shit about right or wrong, only interest and gain.”
Ranvir was already on top of me pinning me to the hard concrete ground. As we spoke my right hand went to my leg, I took out an elixir which I never intended on utilizing today. But I was running out of options.
“Ranvir, there is such a thing as right in the world. I fight for that everyday, not just me but some others who also believe in good. It’s people like you who taint the world in their delusion of what they perceive to be justice.”
I quickly shattered the elixir to the ground, leaving the air in a smoky grey hue which left only my vision. “Brat! I had a feeling it was weird you could stand up against me for so long. It’s you! You’re the night angel.”
“Well, that's the last secret you’ll ever know.” I said releasing my cold intent.
“Night angel, you sure do know how to talk about justice, in a country where evil is the order of the day.”
The elixir had begun its job as Ranvir wailed in pain in the hue. He slashed at the emptiness. The elixir inflicted pain on his body, Ranvir rubbed his eyes uncontrollably in agony.
This was my chance, I charged in, fully transformed as muscles teared and my eyes shorn a fiery red, dashing forward round the rogue wolf, my claws landed on his shoulder tearing a big chunk of flesh, then another at the back of his legs, then slashed a curve at his belly.
Everything depended on this moment because I knew he was my biggest opponent so far, and one mistake could land me in jeopardy.
“Tell me Ranvir what do you think of yourself now that this youngling is overpowering and beating you to a pulp” I asked him.
“Ahhhh, you’re the Night Angel, the justice of the fallen. How can you compare yourself to a normal teenage werewolf” Ranvir groaned.
“But at the end of the day, I am still just a child mind you. You know what they say, desperate times call for desperate measures, I am your end.”
“Hahaha, you see damn child, I was once part of the army of Andovia, a country known for its powerful military strength, a minor vigilante cannot take me down.”
“And yet you bend a knee before me.” I retorted. The pouncing hadn’t ended yet as I continued to deliver slice after slice to every part of Ranvir's body. He had no energy left to stand but I still wondered why he spoke so confidently like he had the upper hand.
This sent shivers down my spine. After twenty minutes of gashing and slicing I slowed down once I noticed he was on the floor in his own pool of blood.
“You are such a coward for targeting younglings, it shows how weak you’re. If truly you're a man you would have gone for the adults or even the Alpha himself who did this to you.”
“Unfortunately for you, you fell for my trap and targeted me with your fate already sealed by my hands.”
The smoke had already faded exposing the dead wolf on the ground. As I turned to leave, I felt a sudden slash.
What was that… I reached up to my neck fresh. Thick blood. It was mine. It can’t be.
I thought he was dead. No. I was sure he was dead.
Could this be it? Would I really die this way? I recounted my past memories as the sword went down my throat. I ought to have been dead already… but I wasn’t. It was quite shocking to me that I could still breathe, I could still smell Salvatore’s scent, I could still feel the blood running through my body. I looked up now, I could see her, she held the blade firmly, I could sense the strength Salvatore used in that last attack plus the added boost of the lycan weapon, and yet she held it firmly. She looked a little different now, her jawline looked more defined, she had this look in her eyes that carried the weight of problems no one could understand. Her obsidian hair gleamed in the moonlight, somehow both darker and brighter now. Salvatore looked flabbergasted to suddenly see her holding onto his staff, he had already frozen on the spot, he stood afterwards returning the weapon to his dimensional ring.“Elsa, you’re okay.”“Yes I’m well now.” She replied. She looked at me with a
ALEXANDER’S POV My werewolf form enlarged gradually, to the point where Salvatore had to tilt his head back just to meet my gaze. I towered slightly above the trees, looking down at him like he was an insect.“FOR THE LAST TIME SALVATORE, MOVE!” My voice rang with authority. The transformation had deepened my voice as well, making it sound more commanding.“I’m sorry prince but that won’t be happening, you might have to kill me first.” He responded.“Then so be it.” I replied in finality. I made a large slash at him, he tried his best to evade the strike, but it was no use, the attack was to big for him to dodge, and it ended up getting him in the arm. Salvatore hawled in pain, while limping to the side.“You would have to do more than that.” He replied, as the injury healed up quickly. The hound form carried a single flaw, it lacked the normal speed my werewolf body possessed, which made me slower in my attacks but it had ten times the strength. Each attack I delivered sent ripple
ALEXANDER’S POV “What do you mean she wants to kill me! That pest! That weakling! How dare she!”“Relax Lauren, she was just angry that you killed her friend no biggie.” I said, realizing what I might have caused.“Besides, we have more pressing matters to be worried about, remember? we need to focus on that.” I added.“You do not understand Alex, you might think she is not a threat but I won’t. I’ll never underestimate an enemy, that would be foolishness.” Lauren retorted. We were currently in her room which is on the vip section for the School council members. We had discussed a number of things, I even told her about my new found interest in a beautiful lady called Elsa, but it seems that was my biggest mistake. Lauren was never someone who tolerated weakness, not to talk of a nobody from Bulgaria. I told her how beautiful Elsa is, but she felt that didn't matter since Elsa, had a weak bloodline, but that wasn’t my worst mistake, i had accidentally told her about how she wa
“Oh my, it’s finally nice to meet the prodigy Elsa. I’m so proud of you child. I myself never went to Sheffield Academy neither did my father or the one before him, but to think it would finally be a girl to achieve such a fit.” Alpha Lucifer said, holding my hand gently to his.His beta had taken me to one of the rooms in the castle, where Lucifer stood facing the window, a walking stick poised gracefully in his right hand. As soon as he saw me he walked up to me hugging me like we had known each other forever. He then commanded his beta to leave us, he motioned for me to have a seat.“My dad, is he safe?.” “Fortunately, the warden wasn't able to get hold of him, it seems he had already fled for his life.”“The warden killed my mother in cold blood.”“Oh, that’s not the story I heard. I did a background check on you. The only relation in the world you’ve is your dad, a criminal just like you, your bloodline is weak. So how can you be here?” Lucifer said, his facade suddenly droppi
After Salvatore’s last statement, every alpha and their entourage stood up from their seats in unison.“We will now pay a visit to the seer, the vessel in which the gods speak to us.” Salvatore added. The alphas and their entourage walked slowly down the stage in a single line, walking past us. It was a remarkable sight, to see the world leaders in a single room, observing such rituals. Salvatore followed closely behind them, and as soon as they all walked past, I could see the School Council members spread out, guiding students to join the moving line, starting with the front row, ensuring everything remained orderly.I soon spotted Lauren a few rows ahead, she always seemed to be squeezing her face like she was angry about something and yet, she was as gorgeous as ever, I could see most of the guys staring at her with dreamy eyes, she wore a short skirt, which I've known her for with the school uniform. Her huge busts threatened to spill from her cleavage. It had reached my row'
“This is the best day of my life! I can’t believe that today we get to see the five alphas!” Josh Elosquire replied, flashing a cheerful grin.It had been two weeks since the incident with professor Miocent, and I didn’t exactly give a good first impression to him as he kept on tackling me all through the lesson that day. I was given a training partner and geared in the training garb. I was happy that he let me into the class, but it turns out it was just to humiliate me. During the lesson he called my training partner in front of the classroom and asked him to pick someone for a demonstration, so naturally my training partner picked me.He called me and my training partner out for a “teaching demonstration.” The professor emphasized it was just for teaching purposes. But everyone knew Professor Miocent, it was obvious he wanted to make a ridicule of me. I was certain he viewed me as a weak nobody who needed to be humiliated.“Now pay attention everyone, this is our second class tog
