Grace's POV

I took agonizingly slow steps to Ashton's office as I didn't want to see his face so soon. Why does he always have to bug me? Upon reaching his office, I gently knocked on the door that was answered with a soft 'come in'. Twisting the knob, I entered the quiet room.

"You called me Mr Knight?" Ashton looked up from his laptop and nodded while pointing at the chair, asking me to sit. I obliged to the offer.

"Update me on the project," he said while continuing to punch some keys on his laptop. I told him all that he needed to know. I informed him that Stephen had been a great source of help for the project as he had skillfully done all the tasks that were given to him.

But as soon as those words left my mouth, I saw his jaw clenching and his fingers folding to form a tight clenched fist. I paused for a bit to see why he was acting that way, but continued after finding no apparent reason. But then he suddenly interrupted me.
