Chapter 028

BACK TO JENNA POV

Sunlight streamed in through the window in my bedroom which somehow felt even cosier today.

I rolled in bed, wrapping myself in the duvet as I smiled remembering my and Keith's moment together last night.

That night was the closest I've felt to him and the happiest I've ever been in a long time. And if I had the chance, I wouldn't change anything about it.

The soft morning sunlight that touched my face, managed to increase in seconds and and squinted my eyes.

I turned the other way and I opened my eyes sleepily, finding Keith setting a tray with breakfast on the bedside table.

It shocked me and so I turned back, forgetting the light and instantly regretted it when the rays touched my eyeballs.

I sat up quickly, "ahh! The light!" I screamed, rubbing my eyes until small tears rolled down my cheeks.

I turned to look at Keith and even as my vision was a bit blurry, I could have sworn I saw a smile on his face. Just, when my eyes cleared, the smile was gone like an illus
