She was getting ready when her phone rang. Without looking at the caller id she received it.
“Hello?”
“Hey soul sista!”
“Cia! Where have you been?” Abigail was surprised to hear from her.
“Sorry Abi, I had been busy lately with assignments and projects.”
“Good, so anything new? Any new boyfriend at school?”
“Nopes! No luck! What about your marriage preparations? I wish I could be there. It feels like my elder sister is getting married.” Abigail had been a mentor to Patricia when she was in school. Patricia was much younger than her but she was also very mature of her age and that’s why Abigail adored her a lot.
“I also miss you, cupcake! But don’t worry. Visit me here any time. Right now I need to go. Have got a dinner date with Rafael Wyatt.”
