Hunter was asked to keep less interaction with Abigail. But that was nearly impossible. Mr. McKenzie might be a business rival but he was still guilty for what happened to Abigail at the party thrown by him.
Hunter used to spend the nights with her followed by breakfast. Then he used to go office for a few hours. He was instructed by police officials to either stay at Sapphire Galaxy or his house.
But every single day, he used to dodge them with an excuse of an important meeting and came to meet her.
That day they both were having early dinner when Abigail offered him to bring coffee. Laying on the wide plush sofa he was waiting for her when he received Costner’s call.
When he was done with the call, he stood up. Abigail was placing the cups when he pulled her towards him and hugged her.
She tilted back her head and raised an eyebrow questioningly wiping the corner of his mouth.
“We need to go police station, sugar.”
