Reunited at last...
My excitement is no longer containable by the time we reach the sickly green painted hospital; every fibre inside of me begins to buzz as I feel deliriously happy, giddy even while I allow the positive surge to mute all of my recent turbulent worries, making them appear mundane almost as I lose sense of any calmness I may have recently possessed. Unable to sit still any longer my leg begins to shake impatiently while I wait for Mato to park the blacked-out SUV as he slowly drives around the carpark looking for a free space amongst the rows of endless vehicles.
As we near the front of the daunting hospital a car begins to reverse out in front of us, luckily freeing up a space and causing us to stop as Mato waits to take their once occupied spot causing my anxiety to soar.
