Five days later....

Sitting inside her office cabin, Cali was trying to focus on her work but everytime her mind was drifting to the one and only man who was invading her dreams every night. Everyday in the office, she was anticipating his arrival. But he never came back once to see her after that day when she lied to him about being a gold digger five days ago. Five days, it had been five days since she had seen him. She even contacted his secretary two days back to remind him that they were to discuss the changes in that contract. She thought that he would come to the office even if just for the sake of that contract. But how wrong she was! He sent his secretary to her office instead and did not come there himself. She was getting vexed now. She wanted to use the boss card by demanding that his presence was needed here but refrained from doing so because if she did something like that, he would get the idea that he affected her which was true to some extent.
