The Prequel (8 years earlier)"Wake up Allegra we have a flight to catch!" my annoying sister announced.I threw a pillow over my head, what's so exciting about Vegas anyway! I groaned as I dragged myself to the bathroom.What does an 18 year old gat to do to be left alone these days.“What a waste of my fucking life.” I groaned as I walked up the front steps of my family’s estate. My heels clinked against the stone as I wrapped my trench coat around myself “Seriously. What kind of modeling event doesn’t allow drinking?” Alice asked as we entered the house. We were dressed formally, in gowns and heels. I wore a long sleeve burgundy gown with a slit going up my thigh. It was tight, accentuating my curves in all the right places complemented by my simple Louboutins. Alice wore a shorter grey dress that reached just above her thigh. The back was completely open and it was the perfect mesh of sexy and classy. She paired it with black Jimmy Choo’s, and I have to admit, we looked great.

“Did you grab food?” My wife said as I got in the car, bouncing excitedly in the passenger seat. “Did I grab the food?” I said playfully as I held up all her favorite and disgusting food she’s been craving for the past month. “God you’re the best.” She said as she snatched the peanut butter and Oreos out of my hand before I started the car and drove to the private airfields. Well, my brother willingly jumped out. I looked out the window at the tarmac and the surrounding buildings as we landed smoothly. I looked over at my wife, and gently nudged her shoulder to wake her up. “We’re here love. Come on.” I said as I gave her a slight smile. We exited the jet, and I got into the driver’s seat of the black Range Rover that waited for us and drove towards the shore. The beautiful and lush countryside was gorgeous

***ROMANO’S POV *** 4 weeks later*** We watched as my brother’s coffin was lowered into the ground. My father held my mother as she was crying hysterically, and to my surprise, even the Grey’s were crying over the loss of Ace.
