Chapter 13

I could see something was different about Thane's demeanor. For some reason, I felt even more uneasy when he pulled my hand to follow him. I was taken to a room separate from the party room. Thane threw my hand away, causing me to almost fall, but luckily, I could still hold my own body.

"Si-sir, what did I do wrong?" I asked with certainty.

I was sure Thane was like this because something happened at the party. Was it because those men were teasing me and saying I was pretty? I don't know.

Thane stared at me with such a terrifying gaze that I had trouble moving. Why was he still silent and not answering my questions?
