I felt like I was running insane in here. I've been locked up in this room for a week and luckily my starvation punishment was over.

I never saw that beta girl again as the men were assigned to bring my food but I knew what happened to her and the guy I stabbed. Xerxes killed them from the whispers I heard and he did it in the most terrifying way, he skinned off their faces and hung it in his room like masks waiting for it to decay.

Xerxes came in once to assure me that my husband wasn't dead and Asa was safely at home but when I asked about Felicia; he left me in suspense and walked out the door.
