CHAPTER 19: IN THE WILD
Juanita cooked quickly and fed her empty stomach. After eating she cleaned up her plates and pits before looking at the screen where she surveyed her surroundings and took a deep breath seeing that there was no danger.
She then went to bed and slept very soundly. When she woke up the next day, she solved her toilet needs, took a bath, and made some breakfast. After eating and feeling energetic, she flashed out of the farm and began her gathering.
With the hand gloves she bought for this job, Juan found herself working so fast and hard. The notifications became a bother as she got annoyed hearing notifications she didn’t like.
In the end, she muted them and just worked like a maniac and rested here and then. Juanita also cooked her lunch and continued with her gathering. When night came, she flashed back into the farm and made herself some dinner.

After exchanging numbers, the woman didn’t linger much inside the suite that Juan was staying in and left after telling Juan that she will be having dinner with her the next day.Juanita only smiled and bid the woman goodnight. She was sweating buckets; she had this inkling that the woman was up to no good but she still liked her. Juanita looked at her recent dialed calls and saw the call that was made recently.The number was saved under an Eve Pope. Since the woman lives in Zlila, Juan searched for Pope and Zlila and the results showed up instantly.In the end, she regretted searching for the name in the first place and went to comfort herself on the farm and ate some fruits and soaked in the hot springs before sleeping very soundly.The next day, she woke up, as usual, took a look at the farm, the ranch, the orchard, and the barn. She also received a report from Gem and left the farm.

The next day she woke up energetically as it was a big day for her. After cleaning up she went to the living room and took a look at the monitor. She checked the plot of land where the healing fruit was planted.Seeing the place blank Juan knew that Gem already harvested the fruits and she was so excited she called out for Gem immediately.It didn’t take long before Gem showed up in front of her and she wore a smile on her tiny face, “good morning, Master.”“Good morning to you too Gem. There is so much to talk about but right now, I want to know if there is anything I should mind before I take the first fruit?”Gem was happy seeing that Juan was relying on her and seeking her opinion. As a dedicated steward and manager, she had done her best to research everything about Juanita, and that included the fruits she had harvested while Juanita was sleeping.
