"What does that even mean?" Lisa asked this time around like she read my mind,

"The twins turn seven this year right?" he asked although it seemed like he already had his answer,

"Yes, why?" I answered skeptically ignoring the sudden fear that gripped me,

"The person who contracted me six years ago reached out to me last night, he wants him dead at all cost" he said as my insides dropped at the thought,

"Are you trying to say my grandchild is going to be murdered?" Mum asked in horror,

"Yes ma'am" he answered staring at the ground like it could open up and swallow him,

"What do you mean by the person who contracted you six years ago?" I asked his words replaying in my head, nothing seemed to be making sense right now, nothing seemed to be adding up and I didn't like it one bit,

"I know I don't deserve any forgiveness of any kind but I am willing to work for it, anything at all I would do to make it up" he answered getting me angrier,
