Chapter fifty eight

Emily's POV

When I get out of the car,we start walking and my heel catches on an uneven stone. I lose my balance and start falling forward but Tyler's arm snakes around my waist and catches me just in time before I fall.

He presses his hand into my hip and pulls me upright, causing me to crash into him with my chest against his.

"Thanks" I say and he smiles.

We keep walking until we get to a field and I'm left speechless.

Scanning my surroundings, all I see is green grass and trees swaying and then right in the center of the field, I see it. There is a table set for two in the middle of the field with bright lights set up under a makeshift canopy decorated with flowers and ribbons.

Tyler pulls me out of my stunned state by taking my hand in his as he leads me towards the table.
