I knew from even last night that school was going to be a huge mess for me today, but nothing prepares me for what I meet next.

Getting to school, I see that an emergency meeting is being held by the supernatural faculty and the parents, and I have been summoned.

The old library is the only building large enough to take hundreds of parents, and Miss Waters has sent for me.

I feel like bursting into tears because of how much I hate my life right now, but I know that I have to go.

I sigh with relief when I see Ethan waiting for me outside my class.

“Do you think that I am going to get kicked out of moonrise academy?” I wonder.

“No, monkey, they wouldn't dare.” He puts his hand on my shoulder. “You have done nothing wrong, and you aren't even an official member of his pack anymore. His crimes have nothing to do with you.”

I nod, as if trying to convince myself to believe what he has said.
