Please keep leaving your comments. I enjoy reading your thoughts on the characters and their relationship to each other. I'd also like to invite you to read my first book Twin Moon Curse if you haven't yet. I hope you enjoy it too. Your comments and gems are always appreciated. Thank you.
Meg POV“What he told me was that he remembered kissing your neck and telling you that he was hoping you would be his mate so that he would be able to mark you someday. Then things went black.” Heather says.I sat up a little straighter still a little nervous about telling someone, but I needed someone to know and it may sound weird but if Quinn had trust in Heather then I do too. “At first I thought maybe his wolf, Ash, was coming through because he had done that before. Even when he had, he still stopped and let Quinn take control again when I asked him to. Do you remember when we talked about the tingles that I felt when Quinn touched me?" Heather nodded. "Well, they disappeared. I mean, as soon as Quinn’s demeanour changed, the tingles disappeared. That had not even happened, even the few times that Ash came through. That’s what I mean by, it was like he was a different person. The things that he said...” she took a deep breath “...and did.” I wiped at the tears on my cheeks. Heat
Meg POVI’d been able to track down everyone in the café, everyone that is but Heather. After what happened back in October between Sophie and the twins Heather had decided to take the same root that I was and get out of high school as soon as possible. She had started using her lunchtime to get assignments done. After the first semester, I had only one math and one English credit that I needed to finish. That is what I was here for today to write the final exams on those two correspondence courses. I didn’t have to wait around for the marking to be done but I had wanted one last goodbye of the school. I know that sounds weird but most students get to say goodbye when they have their graduation, but I won’t be having that with the rest of my class. There are a lot of things I won’t be doing that I have grown up looking forward to.I spotted Heather at her locker and called out to her. “Hey Meg, how are you doing?” She said when she turned.“Good. I’ve been looking for you. I came to sa
Quinn POVI pulled into my parking space at the packhouse and climbed out of the car closing the door and trying not to make too much noise. It is still very early even for this group that is up before dawn. The sun is just starting to lighten the sky. I wanted to be here with plenty of time to set up my surprise of Meg. I know things are not fully back to where they were before but I think that they are getting better. Meg has texted me a few times nothing big just small things like how are things going? What classes am I taking? The best one though was when she texted me and told me that she believed me about me blacking out. She may not have forgiven me yet and that is not what I’m looking for. I don’t want her to forgive me for not being able to keep her safe. I want her to believe me that I would never do something like that to her. I am hoping that if she is my mate it will help her get over her fear of being alone with me. That is another reason that I came so early I’m hoping
Meg POVThe farm that we are on doesn’t have very good cell service so as I walked into the kitchen which is where it seems to be the best my phone started blowing up. I had eight messages from April. Another six from the twins and twenty-five, yes I said twenty-five from Quinn. The ones from April, Reed and Lucas were all about how Quinn had freaked out when he realized that I had left. I was sitting on the back porch swing reading through Quinn’s messages when Levi walked out with two cups of coffee in his hand. He sat down and handed me one. “Thanks,” I said taking it from him.“How many did he leave you?” Levi says nodding towards my phone before looking out across the backyard.“Twenty-five.”I hear Levi give a low whistle. “Damn. You don’t have to tell, but what did he say?”I skim through the texts. “Most of them are him asking me to come back,” I say looking over at my brother. “He doesn’t think that the bond that we have will let me reject him. He said he’s not scared about t
Meg POVI’ve been in Spain for almost a year now the coursework has been easy enough and I have learned a lot. I’ve made some very useful connections. One of which is a fellow from Scotland, Professor MaKay, who is also an expert in curses. The fact that he is a werewolf helps. I was able to give him all the facts without a lot of extra questions that I couldn’t give full answers to. The problem with dealing with him is he doesn’t like to use things that are too high-tech in that I mean anything more than a telephone or photocopier. So no text, digital pictures or emails. All the documents are copies of stuff that he has found in books. I explained to him the story of the curse that is on the Twin Moon Alpha line and he was very intrigued. I have asked MaKay to look into the background of a curse like this.I have been using what I have been learning to look into Sage’s family. I wanted to know if there was something from her side that could be affecting Quinn like she thinks there is
Quinn POVWell, I’m coming up on final exams. I can’t believe how fast the time seemed to go. I thought for sure that it would drag. It did get a little lonely around here when James and Chase found their mates. Both decided to get apartments instead of staying in the dorms. Chase had ended up being mated to his adopted sister. Now that was a shit show. They had grown up knowing that she was adopted but the last thing that they expected was to be mates. It caused a lot of tension in the household for a while. I never did hear the whole story but it seems to have worked itself out in the end so I’m happy for him. James ended up with a sweet girl who is one of our fighting instructor’s youngest daughters. I may have been lonely after they moved out but I think it was better in the long run. It was starting to weigh on me every time I heard or saw them together. I had started to get a little depressed thinking about what I was missing out on with Meg. I have bee
Unknown POVWhy can’t they get this right they were supposed to have her weeks ago. Now they are telling me that they won’t help get the other two out of the way until they have the first so I’ve had to adjust my timeline. I thought these guys were hunters and knew what they were doing. All I know is that after what happened to Heather at Silver River a while ago she and the rest of these worthless idiots have been keeping a closer eye on things. Quinn is back from his training and spends all his time with his Dad and the other ranked males so I haven’t been able to get near him. I don’t know if that is on purpose or not. All I know is I’m starting to get really pissed. He is mine. Why can’t he just accept that and mark me?Quinn POVMeg is still away. She has finished the program she originally left to take part in, but she is now using the knowledge to gather information for Aunt Mona. That is what I was told tod
Meg POVWell, I think I finally have everything that I need. I just finished my weekly report with Mona and she told me to come home. And I agree with her it’s time to go home. I have asked her to not let anyone but my parents know. I want it to be a surprise for the rest, especially Quinn. I know that Professor MaKay found a lot of things that Mona was looking for about some items that the twins and Heather found out by the site of the original packhouse. I’m just waiting for his findings to get here. It would be so nice if the guy would just use some technology. I found so much more than I thought I was going to. We now know why the Twin Moon pack split with some leaving Scotland in the first place and what happened to the ones that stayed behind. I was also able to track down Sage’s family tree. It turns out that she is a very distant relative to the Murphy Alpha line that is in Silver River. Sage wasn’t wrong in thinking that it may be a curse of some sort that affects her family.
