Chapter 4

Author: Yvette Winton
"Shannon and Mr. Yates are childhood sweethearts who were made for each other. You're the one who tore them apart, you vixen!"

"Nothing good will come out of someone willing to be a mistress. What goes around, comes around. It's what you deserve!"

Chelsey clapped her hands over her ears and cried, "I'm not a mistress! I'm not!"

But people would only pity the weak, especially when the weak were beautiful. No one cared about Chelsey's pain and grievance.

That night, the atmosphere seemed particularly lonely. It looked like it would be yet another tough night.

Chelsey stood beneath the shower as the warm water poured over her. The image of Lucas leaving with Shannon kept replaying in her mind. Her heart ached with every second of it.

Her face was wet; she could no longer tell whether it was from the shower or her tears.

Suddenly, the sound of the door flying open dragged her back to her senses. She wiped the water on her face away with a towel and opened her eyes.

Chelsey met Lucas' furious gaze through the glass door of the shower, which had fogged up from the steam. In that instant, her heart stopped.

Lucas had hurried home in a rage. To his surprise, he'd stumbled upon Chelsey while she was in the shower.

The steam from her shower filled the bathroom, and her flawless skin gleamed under the lights. Even through the fogged-up glass, Lucas could see her every curve. Her long hair was draped behind her shoulders, leaving every inch of her skin bare for his eyes.

Lucas took in how sexy and seductive she looked. The blood rushed to his head, and he felt like a certain part of him ached. He was about to explode.

This was his first time really looking at Chelsey after regaining his sight. She wasn't identical to Shannon, but she was also pretty.

She looked at him with wide eyes, unsure of what to do. The scene made his heart itch. Suddenly, unspeakable images formed in his mind. There was a dreamlike quality to them; he couldn't tell whether they'd actually happened.

Lucas felt awkward and embarrassed. He growled, "Why didn't you lock the door when you came in here to shower?"

"How would I have known that you'd suddenly come back?" Chelsey covered herself with a towel, feeling embarrassed.

They were a married couple who'd slept in the same bed for three years, but this was the first time he'd stared at her so blatantly while she was in the shower.

Lucas backed out of the bathroom. Chelsey turned off the water and put on a bathrobe. When she walked out, she saw Lucas sitting on the couch. She asked, "What are you doing back here?"

Lucas sat with one leg crossed at the knee. He watched Chelsey coldly. This was his first time looking her in the eye after three years of being married.

It made Chelsey's heart skip a beat. She lowered her head, not daring to look at him any longer.

Lucas' voice was devoid of emotion as he said, "You have to apologize to Shannon for injuring her hand. I won't let you off so easily if you pull something like this again."

He was positive she'd injured Shannon, and she didn't want to explain herself anymore. Her heart sank.

Chelsey walked over to the bedside table and picked up a document. Then, she threw it at Lucas. "I won't apologize to her. Let's get divorced, Lucas."

Lucas' eyes flashed. It seemed he was caught off guard by her request for a divorce.

From the day she'd married Lucas, Chelsey had secretly sworn to stay by his side for the rest of her life. She would act as his walking stick, care for him, and make him happy.

But now that Lucas had regained his sight, he no longer needed a walking stick. That also meant he no longer needed her.

Shannon was the woman he'd loved all this while, and Chelsey was nothing but a caregiver.

She'd wasted three years of her life on a heartless man!

After throwing the divorce papers at Lucas, Chelsey headed into the walk-in wardrobe to get changed. When she came back out, he was already gone.

  • Post-Divorce Seduction   Chapter 354

Sandra flashed a satisfied smile as she wrapped her arms around Micah's neck and kissed him. "Please be gentle. I'm afraid it'll hurt… Mmm…"An hour later, Sandra lay limp in Micah's arms. Both of them were drenched in sweat.Although the car was not spacious, it did not affect Micah's performance. Sandra was very satisfied with him. He turned to look at the sleepy Sandra and gently asked, "Does it still hurt?""Yeah…"Sandra did not expect it to hurt so much to the point she'd cried in pain. Now, she was exhausted. She did not even have the strength to keep her eyes open.Micah reached out to gently wipe away Sandra's tears. "Are you satisfied?""Yeah," Sandra replied as she embraced him tightly. At that moment, all she wanted to do was sleep. Sandra then fell asleep. She had no idea how she returned to the hotel. When she woke up, it was already morning.Micah was lying beside her, and neither of them was wearing anything. Her eyes lit up at the sight of his hand

Micah's judgment may be somewhat clouded, but he was still aware that he and Sandra were in the car.It was their first time doing the deed. Wasn't it too intense for it to happen in the car?"Let's head back to the hotel. The car is too small," Micah said as he grabbed Sandra's hand, his voice hoarse but sexy. Sandra looked at him seductively. "Are you sure you can hold on until we return to the hotel? I can't stand it anymore. I want it now…"She stuck out her pink tongue and licked her lips as she spoke. Every move of hers was charming.Micah was both amused and helpless at the sight of Sandra's eagerness. He had never met such an unrestrained woman like her. She was indeed a lethal poison. Micah's throat felt like it was on fire. He swallowed hard and replied, "It's our first time. Let's not be hasty. We can enjoy it better in the hotel room."Sandra was not the only inexperienced one. It was also Micah's first time. He felt that doing it in the car lacked a sense

Sandra's suggestive tone caused Micah's heart to flutter, and indescribable images appeared in his mind again. His lips trembled as he nervously asked, "W-What do you want to do?""What do you think I want to do?" Sandra winked at him and then licked her lips. Everything was implied but left unsaid, understood without being spoken.Micah felt both excited and awkward. He cleared his throat before replying, "It's too fast.""We'll get there eventually. So, why not do it sooner? We can enjoy it in advance," Sandra said seriously.Once again, her logic left Micah at a loss for words. He took a deep breath to remain rational. Micah refused to let his instincts take the reins once more. "We've just started dating, and there's no guarantee we'll continue to do so. I don't want to hurt you if we don't work out."But Sandra did not seem to care. "Why is your thinking still so conservative in this day and age? I'm not concerned about it, so why should you?"She merely wanted hi

Sandra did not answer Xenia's question. Instead, she replied, "The crawfish here tastes good. It's big and fresh."But Xenia showed no interest in the crawfish. She was captivated by Micah, her eyes lingering on him."Sandra, is he your boyfriend or bodyguard?"Sandra shot Xenia an annoyed glance and answered, "He's my boyfriend. What's it to you?""Nothing much. Your boyfriend suddenly rushed onto the stage and disrupted the filming. Mr. Dodd was pissed. Tell your boyfriend he shouldn't do that again. Even if he wants to become famous, that's not the way."Xenia's words were somewhat sarcastic, leaving Sandra feeling uncomfortable. The latter retorted, "My boyfriend doesn't want to become famous. He rushed onto the stage because he saw I was feeling unwell. "If it weren't for him, I'd have died by now. And if someone dies, the filming can't continue, anyway."Sandra did not know hypothermia could be so severe. She thought she could have toughed it out.Fortunately, Micah h

Sandra could break up with Micah next month if everything went smoothly. She playfully winked at him and said, "It's your turn to feed me."Micah choked on his saliva upon hearing that. They were in public, so he dared not do it at all. However, Sandra had already opened her mouth."Hurry up and feed me."Left with no choice, Micah peeled a crawfish and fed her. After eating that, Sandra smiled and demanded, "I want you to feed me with your mouth.""Don't push your luck."At that point, Micah's face had turned red as a tomato.Despite being an upright person, Sandra had led him astray. His mind was now filled with unwholesome thoughts."I will push my luck," replied Sandra. She then pouted coquettishly. "Quick! Feed me!"She had thoroughly gotten the better of him.Micah became a man without principles, only capable of spoiling his girlfriend. He could not bring himself to refuse her demands. With a crawfish in his mouth, he turned to feed it to Sandra. She aggressi

Sandra did not want to order takeout at the hotel. So, she searched online for a highly-rated restaurant and asked Micah to drive there.Sandra had chosen an eatery that specialized in crawfish. Upon their arrival, she boldly ordered 22 pounds of crawfish, some side dishes, and beer. The crawfish soon arrived, and the plate was almost as big as the table. Sandra rolled up her sleeves and immediately dug in. She also poured beer for herself and Micah."I need to drive, so I can't drink," said Micah."Don't worry. We can just call for a driver. Let's drink together. It's no fun drinking alone."After saying that, Sandra picked up her glass and took a big gulp. She even put her feet up on the chair while eating, displaying her carefree demeanor. It was Micah's first time seeing a female celebrity who was unconcerned about her image.
