Aaron’s POV

In the aftermath of the unsettling encounter with Maya, I turned abruptly, my eyes scanning the vast expanse of my rooftop garden. The sharp clang of my bow hitting the ground echoed through the tense air. Maya, trembling from the ordeal, remained bound to the target, her tear-streaked face a testament to the cruelty she had endured.

In that charged moment, I shifted my gaze, my cold eyes narrowing as I surveyed the vast rooftop. The faint hum of a helicopter's blades reached my ears, disrupting the peace of my private space. The audacity of someone daring to interrupt my carefully curated ball fueled a simmering rage within me.

"Who dares to disturb my sanctuary?" I bellowed, my voice a thunderous command that reverberated across the rooftop. The head maid, still lingering in the shadows, took a step back, her eyes avoiding my piercing gaze. My eyes, once red with fury, now burned with a different kind of intensity—an unyielding demand for answers.
