Aaron’s POV

Maya's eyes fluttered open, a newfound vitality coursing through her. The room, once shrouded in concern, now bathed in a warm light as life returned to her. She sat up, greeted by the concerned gaze of Declan. A shy smile played on her lips as she acknowledged him, her gratitude evident.

"Thank you for saving me," she whispered, her voice filled with sincerity. Declan returned her smile, a reassuring presence in the aftermath of the tumultuous events.
