I squeezed my face as I came back to consciousness. I didn't know how long I had been asleep for, but I felt a little better than when I was thrown into that horrible place.

The comfort of being on the bed in a warm space was sweet and relaxing.

My eyelids flutterrd open, adjusting to the light as a result of closing them for a long while.
