"Before we start the lesson, let's check the attendance first. Let's start with the girls." I breathed a sigh of relief because at least the girls were called first, and since their last names are in the letter M, there's still a chance that Aiden won't be late if he arrives anytime soon.

"Arden, where's Aiden?" Jessica asked again, but she whispered it because our seats are close to each other. Arden subtly looked at Jessica to answer.

"I don't know, but he left home early earlier." Where could he have gone? I wondered to myself.
