We entered the living room only to be bombarded with questions by Mrs. Stone. "Oh, honey! You're finally awake! How're you feeling, my dear? Adrian, don't just stand there like a fool. Bring her to the couch."
I didn't even have a chance to take out a single word from my mouth when I was carried and deposited on the couch. I glared at the idiot who just shrugged in reply, pointing at his mother. I pursed my lips at him but put on a smile on my face as I turned to his mother as well as Jade and Brandon who had now joined her, making a concerned trio.
"It was just a little headache. I'm fine now, really. I'm sorry for making you worried." I said, smiling at each of the member reassuringly. I felt something on my lap and looked down to see Jade's son, Luke frowning at me.
