Chapter 36: The Truth

Aurora opened the journal and a picture fell from it. "What is this?" She picked the picture up and it was her mum's. She smiled and dropped the picture. She checked the page the picture fell from and read.

'My dear Aurora Madeline Penson, you really are my daughter. I know as you read this, I would have been long dead. I want you to know that I love you. All my life, I spent it on loving you. I want you to know that even if I'm no longer there physically, I will always watch over you. 

Aurora, Dad kept a secret from you and I feel really bad about it. I hope you forgive me after reading this. 

A long time ago, I had a friend and we agreed to do business together. I asked Jerry about it and he told me to go ahead. At that time, Penson's group of companies was not as big as this. You weren't born that time. I was told that the deal will make my company grow and so I agreed. 

We did the deal and made a
