The Proposal

Elena noticed the difference the moment she walked into the living room.

The usual cold lights of the penthouse had been softened. The long dining table near the windows was set for two, with low candles and simple white flowers. The city glittered beyond the glass, but the space felt quieter than usual. More private.

Dante stood by the table, already waiting. He wasn’t wearing a full suit this time—just black pants and a dark shirt with the sleeves rolled up. When he looked at her, there was still that familiar intensity in his eyes, but something steadier sat underneath it.

“Sit,” he said.

Elena walked over slowly and took the chair he pulled out for her. “What’s all this?”

“Dinner.”

“You don’t usually do dinner like this.”

“I know.” He sat across from her. “I wanted to.”

The food was already there—simple but carefully chosen. They ate mostly in silence at first. Dante watched her more than he ate, the way he always did, but tonight the weight of his attention felt different.

When they finished, he didn’t stand right away. He rested one arm on the table and looked at her directly.

“Your brother is free.”

Elena’s fork stilled. “What?”

“The debt is cleared. Fully. My men won’t go near him again. He’s free to live his life.”

She stared at him, searching his face. “Why?”

“Because I decided it was time.” Dante’s voice stayed calm. “The original reason I brought you here no longer exists.”

Elena’s heart started beating harder. “So I can leave?”

He held her gaze. “You could. I won’t stop you.”

The words hung between them. For the first time since he had taken her, there was an actual door being left open. Elena waited for the relief to hit. It came—but it was quieter than she expected, tangled up with something else she didn’t want to name yet.

Dante leaned forward slightly.

“I’m not asking you to stay because of your brother anymore,” he said. “I’m asking you to stay because I want you here. Permanently.”

Elena’s breath caught.

He continued, steady and certain. “I want you in my home. In my bed. In my life. I want my name on you in a way that no one can question.” He paused, eyes locked on hers. “Marry me.”

The silence that followed was thick.

Elena looked at him—really looked at him. The man who had taken her as payment, who had set rules and enforced them without apology, who had also run her baths, watched her carefully, and made sure she ate. The man who could be cold and still somehow make her feel like the only person in the room.

“You’re serious,” she said quietly.

“I don’t say things I don’t mean.”

She could have said no. The option was right there. Her brother was safe. She could walk out.

Instead, she heard herself answer.

“Yes.”

Dante’s expression didn’t change much, but something in his eyes darkened with satisfaction—and something heavier. He stood, walked around the table, and pulled her up from the chair. One hand settled on the side of her neck, his thumb brushing her jaw as he looked down at her.

“Say it again.”

“Yes,” Elena repeated, more steadily this time. “I’ll marry you.”

He kissed her.

It was deep and deliberate, like he was sealing something. Elena’s hands curled into his shirt as he walked her backward toward the bedroom, never fully breaking the kiss until they were inside and the door was shut behind them.

Dante undressed her slowly. There was no rush in his hands. He kissed every newly exposed inch of skin—her shoulders, the curve of her breasts, the faint marks he had left before—like he was reclaiming them under a different meaning. When her top came off, he lowered his head and closed his mouth over one nipple, sucking slowly while his hand cupped the other breast. Elena’s breath stuttered. He switched sides, giving the same unhurried attention until her back began to arch toward him.

Only then did he move lower.

He guided her onto the bed and dragged her pants and underwear down her legs. For a long moment he simply looked at her, eyes dark, before settling between her thighs. The first slow stroke of his tongue made her hips twitch. Dante made a low sound of approval and kept going, licking her with focused patience. He took his time—long, thorough strokes, then softer ones centered on her clit, then deeper again. Every time her breathing changed or her thighs tensed, he adjusted.

Elena’s hands moved into his hair. Dante hummed against her and worked her steadily until the first orgasm built and spilled over her in a trembling wave. She cried out softly, fingers tightening in his hair as pleasure rolled through her.

He didn’t stop.

He licked her through it, gentler but relentless, until the oversensitivity made her try to shift away. Dante held her hips in place and kept going until a second, sharper climax tore through her, leaving her shaking and gasping.

Only then did he rise up over her, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

“Still with me?” he asked quietly.

Elena nodded, still trying to catch her breath.

Dante stripped out of his own clothes and settled between her thighs again. He rubbed the head of his cock through her soaked folds, coating himself thoroughly, before pushing inside with one slow, continuous thrust. The stretch pulled a long, shared sound from both of them as he sank all the way in.

He stayed buried deep for a moment, forehead resting against hers, before he started moving.

The pace was steady and deep. Each stroke dragged against sensitive places inside her, unhurried but heavy with intent. Dante watched her face the entire time, one hand braced beside her head, the other stroking over her body—her breast, her waist, her thigh—as if he wanted to feel every reaction. When he angled his hips just right, Elena’s mouth fell open on a soft moan.

“That’s it,” he murmured. “I want to feel you come around me again.”

He kept the same controlled rhythm, grinding against her clit on every deep thrust, until a third orgasm built low and strong. Elena’s back arched as it hit her, her body clenching tightly around him while a broken cry left her throat. Dante’s jaw tightened at the feeling, but he didn’t stop. He fucked her through it, drawing every pulse out of her until she was trembling beneath him.

Still, he held back his own release.

He pulled out slowly, making her feel every inch leave her body, then turned her onto her side. He lifted her leg over his hip and pushed back inside from behind, sinking deep in one smooth thrust. The new angle dragged a raw sound from her throat. Dante wrapped one arm around her waist, holding her firmly against him, while his other hand slipped down to rub slow, firm circles over her clit.

“One more,” he said against her ear, voice rough. “Give me one more.”

His thrusts stayed deep and steady while his fingers worked her. The dual sensation built fast despite how sensitive she already was. Elena’s hand gripped his forearm as the pressure tightened. When the fourth orgasm finally broke over her, it was almost too much—sharp, overwhelming, her whole body shaking as she pulsed hard around him.

Only then did Dante follow her.

He buried himself to the hilt with a low, guttural sound and came deep inside her, flooding her with thick heat. She felt every pulse of his release as he held her tightly against his chest, breathing hard against the back of her neck.

For a long time afterward, neither of them moved.

Dante stayed inside her, one arm locked around her waist, his mouth pressing slow kisses to her shoulder and the side of her neck. When he finally pulled out, he didn’t let her go far. He shifted them until she was tucked against his chest, her leg still draped over his, his hand spread possessively over her bare hip.

Elena lay there in the quiet, body warm, marked, and thoroughly claimed in a way that felt different from every time before.

Dante’s fingers traced slow patterns over her skin.

“You’re not payment anymore,” he said quietly. “You’re my wife.”

Elena closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them again and met his gaze in the dim light.

“I know.”

He pulled her closer, arm tightening around her like he had no intention of letting go.

Outside, the city lights glittered on. Inside the penthouse, everything had changed—and somehow, it finally felt decided.

Lyra didn’t try to take a different route this time. There was no point. Kai always found her anyway. After class she walked out the main doors with her bag on one shoulder and her headphones around her neck instead of in her ears, because pretending she couldn’t hear him had stopped working days ago. He was waiting by the bottom of the steps. Not with his friends. Not leaning against a wall like he had all the time in the world. Just standing there, eyes on her the second she appeared, expression stripped of the usual loose arrogance. What replaced it was quieter. Heavier. “Walk with me,” he said. Lyra stopped in front of him. “If I say no?” Kai’s gaze held hers. “You won’t.” She hated that he was right. They walked in silence away from the busiest part of campus, past the library and down toward the older faculty lot where his car was parked under the partial shade of a tree. He didn’t open the door for her. He just unlocked it and waited. Lyra got in. He drove to the same

Lyra didn’t see him for most of the morning, and that somehow made it worse. She kept expecting him around every corner. In the lecture hall. Outside the library. Near the vending machines where he had cornered her two days ago with nothing but a look and a quiet *later*. When he didn’t appear, her body stayed wound tight anyway, like it had learned his schedule better than she had. By the afternoon she was angry at herself for noticing his absence at all. She left her last class through the side exit, hoping the different route would give her five clean minutes. Instead she found Kai parked along the curb again, leaning against the side of his car like he had all the time in the world. “You’re predictable,” he said when she stopped. Lyra kept her bag strap tight in her hand. “And you’re obsessive.” “Yeah.” He opened the passenger door. “Get in.” “No.” Kai’s eyes lifted to her face. “We’ve done this. You say no. You get in anyway. Save us both the time.” “I’m serious, Kai. T

By the third day, Lyra had stopped pretending she could outwalk him. Kai was everywhere. Not always close enough to touch — sometimes just at the end of a hallway, on the other side of the quad, leaning against a railing with that same unbothered expression that said he already knew she’d look. Every time she did, heat crawled up her neck and the memory of the practice room and the empty classroom slammed back into her body like a bruise she couldn’t stop pressing. She tried leaving campus the back way after her last class. His car was parked along the side street. Kai pushed off the driver’s door when he saw her. “Get in.” Lyra stopped on the sidewalk. “No.” “You’ve said that a lot.” He opened the passenger door. “Still ends the same way.” “I’m not getting in your car.” Kai’s eyes moved over her face, then down and back up. “You can get in, or I can walk you back through campus with my hand on you where everyone can see. Pick one.” The worst part was that she believed him.

Lyra spent the entire next morning pretending the practice room never happened. She got to campus early. Sat in the front of every lecture. Kept her headphones in and her eyes on her notes. When people spoke to her, she answered normally. From the outside, nothing looked different. Then she walked out of her second class and saw Kai leaning against the wall across the hall. He wasn’t even trying to hide it. The moment she appeared, his eyes found hers, and that same slow, knowing look settled on his face. A couple of his friends were with him. One of them smirked. Lyra turned the other way. She made it ten steps before he caught up. “Ignoring me now?” Kai said, falling into pace beside her. “That’s cute.” “Leave me alone.” “No.” She stopped walking and faced him. “What happened yesterday was a mistake.” Kai’s mouth curved. “You came on my cock like it was a mistake?” Heat rushed up her neck. “You’re disgusting.” “And you’re still talking to me.” He stepped closer, voice dr

  • Private Sins : A Collection Of Steamy stories (Erotica)   (Taught A Lesson)- Story 9 - Target

Lyra learned early that the safest way to survive campus was to stay invisible. She kept her headphones in even when the music was off. She took the long path between buildings. She sat near the front in lectures so she wouldn’t have to pass certain groups on the way out. Most days it worked. Today it didn’t. She was halfway across the quad when she heard her name cut through the afternoon noise. “Lyra.” Not shouted. Just spoken loud enough to carry. The kind of voice that expected people to move out of its way. She kept walking. Footsteps followed, unhurried, and then Kai fell into step beside her like he had every right to be there. Tall. Broad-shouldered. Easy, arrogant posture. The kind of face that got him away with things he shouldn’t. A couple of his friends lingered a few paces back, already watching. “I called you,” Kai said. “I heard you.” “And you kept walking. Rude.” Lyra adjusted the strap of her bag. “What do you want?” Kai’s mouth curved. “You’ve been avoid

Eli tried one last time on a Thursday. He came back from class with his decision already made. The apartment was quiet when he opened the door. Adrian was on the couch like he lived there, hoodie off, phone in his hand, looking up the second Eli walked in. The sight of him still made something tight pull low in Eli’s stomach. He hated that it did.“You’re early,” Adrian said.Eli dropped his bag by the wall and didn’t sit down. “We need to talk.”Adrian set the phone aside. “Okay.”“This is done.” Eli kept his voice steady. “You’re leaving. Tonight. I don’t want you here anymore.”Adrian looked at him for a long second. No anger. No surprise. Just that same dark, steady attention he always gave him.“You done saying it?” he asked.“I mean it.”“You’ve meant it every time.” Adrian stood up. “Then you let me touch you. Then you come on my cock. Then you sleep next to me like you don’t know how to push me out the door for real.”Eli’s hands curled at his sides. “I’m serious this time.”A
