Chapter 6

JESSICA

"So, Mara, how was the preparation for your birthday party tomorrow?" Colin asked Xiomara.

"S'all good. It’s not that big though, I just invited you guys and some other people. And that includes my girlfriend." Xiomara answered and looked down. She was blushing and I really find it cute. She's stunning.

Right now, we're in a restaurant, eating lunch together. Me, Philip, Elijah, Colin, Mon and Xiomara. Chloe wasn't here since she told us that she has to go and do something important. Probably about business.

"Hey Mara, do we need to dress formal at your party?" Mon asked and took a spoonful of cake in her mouth.

"Nope. Actually, it’s a beach party. Just dress in your bikini’s and swim wears and you're all good."

"So, you meant we flew here just for you to enjoy the beach?" Elijah said.

"Kind of. Well, I'm just used to the beaches back in Miami you know? So, I decided to kick it up a notch and have a party here." Xiomara explained and chewed down her food. "So, I expect for all of you to come, especially you Philip." She said, looking straight at Philip, making everyone dart their attention to him.

Philip’s face was emotionless, as always, before saying, "What's the point of coming here if we’re not going to attend your party?"

Well, he had a point. But she said to wear our bikini’s...I don't even have one. How could I attend the party now?

Me and Philip were the ones left on the elevator since all of them have the same floor to go to and our suite was still on the next floor.

The door suddenly opened and I thought that it was already our floor. I was wrong. Some random girl went inside. She was pretty, have long curly hair, tall and she's flawless. But the thing is, her outfit was too short for her. She looked like some kind of a slut on the way she's wearing her clothes. Call me judgmental but she really does look like a slut.

I saw her smile at Philip and he just threw her a look that I can’t seem to understand.  But to be honest, he looks like he’s interested in her. I assumed that he is since a smile is slowly creeping its way onto his lips. And now I’m starting to feel my stomach churn and I don’t know why.

Nope... it’s definitely not because I’m jealous! No way!

The girl then suddenly walked to Philip and take note, she was in slow motion while doing that. And I wasn't expecting this to happen but the girl suddenly tripped and Philip caught her instantly. The girl had a wide grin on her face while she was still in Philip's arms.

And now, something inside me started to boil and I’m slowly starting to think that it is because I was jealous. But why?

"Thank you, handsome...." and the girl gave Philip a kiss on the spot near his lips. My mouth was slightly ajar as I witnessed what just happened. Seriously? She did that in front of my face? And how could he let her do that?

"You're Philip, right?" Philip looked at her blankly. "I'm Maria by the way." And she extended her hand for Philip to shake but Philip just shrugged it off.

"I don't care." Then the elevator suddenly ding-ed. "Come on, wife..." and he quickly pulled me out of the elevator and we headed straight to our room.

We're now inside the room but Philip was still holding my arm. "Ah, Philip, my hand..." I said and carefully pulled it but he was too damn strong.

"Forget what you saw. That was nothing." He said, her back facing me. We're now on the living room, he was still holding my arm. What is he talking about?

I didn't answer her and instead I just let silence surround us. I didn’t know what to say, I really can’t seem to understand him.

It took me a few minutes before I started to gain the ability to speak again. "I'm going to rest now." I said but he still has a hold of my arm. "Philip, my arm." I whined. What's his problem?

"That girl, I don't know her. You saw what happened right? She kissed me...." He started to explain and that caught me off-guard. But he still has a blank expression on his face.

"No need to explain Philip. I understand. I know it’s natural to you since you're that good looking and I can't blame people to be attracted to you." I honestly said and immediately blushed when I realized what just came out of my mouth. "Now please, let go of me. I'm really tired and I want to sleep." But he didn’t seem to have heard me as he won't let go of my hand. "C'mon, let go already!" I whined and pulled my hand but he won't let go still. ‘Its still useless, Jess, he won’t listen to you.’ I said to myself.

I started to turn my back at him but then suddenly, Philip pulled me and I felt his lips on mine. My eyes widened...he's kissing me. He's kissing me!? Oh my God!

I couldn't move. We stayed like that for a minute and I still couldn't believe what was happening. Why can't I move? Why can't I push him away? What's wrong with me?

Suddenly, his lips started to move and I don't know what to do. I wanted to push him away, yell at him and tell him that what he did was wrong but I can't. It’s like all my strength was taken away by his kiss. And all of a sudden, my arms were wrapped on the back of his neck while his hands were fixed around my waist.

'Damn, she's so good.' Philip thought when he felt Jessica's arms around his neck. He didn't know why he kissed Jessica but he's definitely not regretting what he had done.

Now the two are sharing an intimate moment. Philip pulled Jessica's body closer to his. He wants to feel her body against his.

They continued to play with each other's mouth. Their tongues swirled against each other's. Jessica was playing with the baby hair on the back of his neck which turned him on even more. He never expected his wife to be this good with her mouth.

Phil’s hands moved from the brunette’s waist to her back and started caressing the skin there which made Jessica let out a soft moan. She was about to remove Philip's shirt when the door suddenly flew open making them stop their unexpected make-out session.

"Woah, I didn't expect to see that." Colin said and covered his eyes playfully while Elijah had a wide smirk playing on his lips.

"I told you Cole, we should have gone later.” Elijah told Colin which made the older lad smack the back of his neck. “We should probably go. Bye lovebirds!" And then both boys left Jessica and Philip without another word.

A long moment of silence was shared by the two. Nobody bothered to speak and you could feel the tension between the them. Neither of them had moved from their earlier position. Both of them were on the floor, Jessica was facing the coffee table in front of her while Philip was looking at the ceiling.

Right now, Philip was mentally killing both boys for ruining a great moment. It was the very first time that he had been that close with his wife. And he never imagined that it would make him feel the way he’s feeling right now.

"Let's go..." Philip deciding to break the awkward silence between them. Jessica suddenly tensed up. She gave him a confused look.

"W-where?" Xiomara’s party is not until tomorrow night so she grew curious to why Philip would ask her to go somewhere again. After all, they came to Hawaii to celebrate her party, right?

"It’s late, we should probably sleep now." He said and the brunette let out a sigh of relief.

"Unless you want us to continue?" Philip added with a smirk and Jessica's cheeks suddenly turned into crimson red as her eyes widened. Seeing her reaction, Philip quickly told her that he was kidding. And with that, the both of them went inside their room. And for the first time in forever, they slept next to each other. Well Jessica had no choice since it was Philip's orders.

What Philip wants; he gets.
