SAMIEN'S POV

I stood by the entrance to my father's house, tears welled in my eyes.

I struggled hard to keep them from trickling down my face, but to no avail.

“Miss Samien!!” The guards exclaimed in loud voices, their faces plastered with shock.

“Welcome back. Your father has been so worried about you, ma'am.”

I nodded in response, too shaken to speak. The maids rushed out quickly, greeted me and then took my bag from me.

“Samien!!” The voice rang as I stepped into the house.
