Chapter thirty five
Andrian struggled to open his eyes but he couldn't. But then again he wasn't one to give up easily, he tried again and this time around his eyes opened. He was met with a white ceiling. This was the first time he was opening his eyes in a day? Weeks? Months? He has even lost track of time.
How long has he been out?
His mouth felt dry and his body was stiff.
He was numb from head to toe, he couldn't move any part of his body. Even as numb as he felt, his brain was still intact.
He remembered leaving Lucas and the guards in the room and walking out in search of Elena. He remembered seeing a guy pointing a gun at Elena. He remembered running towards Elena and getting in the way of the bullet getting to her. He remembered getting shot in the stomach.
He remembered saving her, he saved the ruthless and heartless monster who made life for him. The woman who snatched his perfect life from him.
