His breath hitch and his eyes went wide. She said it with no emotions as it was a reasonable thing to do.
He doesn't blame her for killing her uncle, his wife and her husband.

"No your husband, uncle and his wife made you a monster, little did they know that the monster that they created will one day devour them."
"I don't blame you for what you did, deep down you are a kind person, you need someone to bring out the kindness in you." He said. Elena face relaxed at least someone is not judging her, some listen to her.
He wasn't scared of her anymore, Lucas was right she is just a broken and shattered girl who needs healing. She needs someone to show her the good things of life and bring out the goodness in her. And he was that person, he won't stop until he show her every good that life has to offer.
