Alpha Damon's POV

"Don't work too much it would only make you weak and when I am gone no one would be here to look after the rest of the pack so I am giving you the responsibility to manage the affairs of the pack when I am gone. This is a big responsibility because I want to be sure I am leaving the pack in safe hands because I really care so much about the well being and safety of the pack." I paused to see her expression and it was still sour which made me so unhappy because I didn't like to see her in such a state just because I was going to war.

"You are coming back right? I can manage the pack pending the time you would come back. Remember that our agreement was that pending which you would have to make sure you come back." She said with a smile on her face for the first time during this conversation which made me a little happy that she was coming around because I would not be happy if she wasn't because I wanted her to show me she was really strong and she was power
