Chapter 9: Lumiére's dilemma

Lumiére's POV

Lumiére awoke to a piercing headache that immediately made him feel weak and fatigued. He struggled to recall the events of the previous night that could have led to such a debilitating condition.

Looking around his room, he noticed that everything seemed to be in order. However, he couldn't seem to recollect how he had managed to make it to his room the night before. The only thing he could recall was sipping red wine in his office before the world began to spin uncontrollably.

He heaved a deep sigh as he stared at the gap between the blinds that covered his windows. The sun had already set, indicating that he had slept through the entire morning and afternoon hours.

This revelation only served to intensify his headache, and he groaned as he tried to sit up on the bed. The sheets that covered his lower body pooled around his waist, and he realized that he was only dressed in denim pants.
