Jas sat beside the bed, his eyes following the heaving of Yoori's chest. His pleasure doll had passed out before he was done with her. Shaking his head, he grabbed the cuilts and covered her bare body. Half an hour had passed since she lost consciousness. He tried to wake her up, but when he failed, he carried her home. Thank goodness they knew the inside and outside of each other's houses. It wasn't hard for him to fish out her house keys from their hiding place.
"I'll be gentle next time, I promise." He whimmed against her left ear. He had been making the promise to her every single day, but there wasn't a day he fulfilled it. There was no way he could control himself with her. The way she always managed to take him in was something that made him lose his mind and forget his promise.
"Mmh!" Yoori moaned, shifting on the other side. Jas contemplated whether he should proceed and bathe her or let her sleep like that. Yoori was a hygiene freak. She always made sure she took a warm shower after sex to avoid the sticky nature of her own juices. He carried her to her sparkling white bathtub and carefully placed her in it, a sigh escaping his moist pinkish lips.
She scrubbed her body with his rough hands to clean it. A smile spread across his face as he pondered what would happen if people discovered him washing a lady's body one day. Everyone in the world knew just how much he despised the ladies. He had never set his eyes on them until Yoori happened. When they first met, he was intrigued by Yoori's lack of interest in him. He had even asked his men to arrange his meals on the same table where she was having hers, but not even once did she raise her head for a hello or to take a look at him.
If it was the other girls, he knew he couldn't have enjoyed his meal that day. They could bother him with so many questions, trying to create a conversation with him. The ladies knew him. He was a great womanizer who used and dumbed them like hot bricks. The ladies were so used to him that they stopped trying to fall in love with him, but they only quarreled with each other to get a space beside his bed for just a night. Another thing which made him realize she was one of her kind was her eating habits.
Jas grew up with the fact that ladies tend to take small bites when eating in front of men and all people in general. Like that day, though a lot of Italian and Chinese mouth-watering dishes were served to everyone, most of them failed to eat them and settled on sipping wine. But Yoori... she was indeed one of her own kind. Her breed was rare in the world. It wasn't easy to find a free-spirited girl who never bothered about what people would think of her. She shoved the Italian dishes she'd ordered into her small mouth like a grown pig that had been starving for years. She went ahead and drank tea, water, and sipped wine. In short, there was nothing she failed to eat that day.
The number of eyes that bore into her that day never made her shrink into her seat like what another girl could have done. In fact, after she was done, she went onto the dance floor and danced her heart out. While he was observing her, he realized one thing. No matter how many times she ate, no matter the number of numerous dishes that kept on disappearing into her mouth, her flat tummy never bulged. It remained intact all this while. He smiled to himself when he heard the ladies asking each other why their tummies never remained so.
"Goodness, my tummy gets extra big the moment I sip a mouthful of water, but alas, look at hers." One lady remarked, and the others busted into fistfuls of laughter. As people craned their necks that day just to take a glimpse of him, asking whether they could take selfies with him, Yoori totally ignored him. She behaved like he didn't exist. Not only was Jas astonished, but every guest was too. When he went ahead to sit beside her, they only expected to see her all over the moon, roaming her hands over his body. They expected her to giggle foolishly, like the teenager she was, but alas, she was unbothered. In fact, not even a single trace of pride that he had chosen to sit with her was visible on her face.
"Look at that girl. The most handsome bachelor in the entire universe is sitting beside her, but she is not happy at all. Only God knows what I could have done. I could have thrown myself into his arms and kissed his baby face. " A lady dreamed, hugging herself, and the rest agreed with her.
"There is something interesting about her." Jas thought that day, a sudden interest building inside his organs.
Later, when he asked his men to background check her, he was astonished. Though her background never said where she came from or who her parents were, it revealed such a shocking thing to him. At least he knew she was twenty years old, and that's what made his curiosity increase. At twenty, she already had chains of industries in every part of the world taking over. He had been looking for the owner of those industries for so long, but he finally managed to know she was the one.
Though Yoori had never told him, he decided to pretend like he didn't know that either. He was waiting for the day she would tell him herself, but he was sure that day would never come. When they got into the agreement of being bed buddies, they promised not to try to find out about the other party's personal information nor try to background check each other. The only things they had to know about each other were their scents and their favourite positions in bed.
Jas wondered what could have sparked the desire of such a young girl to take over the world. Yoori was so prosperous in business that he feared she would take over him soon if he dillydallied just for a second. The fact that they were business rivals and yet bed partners was what amazed his father. It was like an anaemic man getting blood from a corpse!
Since the introduction of business in the world, the Jas family had always been at the far front, followed by his cousin Yeshen Paley's family. And now an anonymous tycoon with the business name YJ was aggressively climbing the ladder of business. He heaved a sigh of relief when he found out that the anonymous YJ was his doll, who was snoring peacefully in his arms as he washed her.
"You are the only person who can defeat Paley. I can't wait for that day. " He smirked, imagining how Yeshen Paley's brows would be knitted in anger, wondering how a young girl could possibly defeat her in business. Jas recalled what had happened years ago when he was still residing in Strathmore City. His elder cousin, Yeshen Paley, had come to him, asking him to show him the trick to being successful in the world of business. Since he treasured his family so much and he never wanted to see them struggling, he single-handedly taught them everything he knew about business. He was the one who made Yeshen Paley, but once he became successful, he began treating him like a garbage can. He was anxiously waiting for the day he would break him, but he was glad there was no need for him to do that because he had found the perfect rival for him.
"Soon, you will come begging for that second position you are proud of, my dear cousin." He smirked. Earlier, he had asked his men to find out what the next move was that Yoori was about to make, and he realized she was flying to Strathmore City to launch her new business. His cousin lived there. That was his own hometown too, which he swore to never go back to as long as he lived.
Yoori coughed, drifting him off from his half-conscious state of mind. When he saw her shivering, he quickly carried her to the bed and dried her body. Going through her walk-in closet,he wondered which type of night outfit he should pick for her. After thinking for a long time, he settled on revealing pajamas, which would neither keep her too warm nor too cold.
When Jas pulled it out, a black paper bag fell out. Out of curiosity, he picked it up, thinking it was related to business. The girl was so experienced that he had thought of borrowing some ideas from her. But what bothered him was, what would he tell her when she demanded to know how he found out she was the anonymous YJ? They had promised to stay out of each other's businesses and secret lives.
A black, expensive suit fell out and he gasped. It somehow looked familiar to him. He pulled it in for a closer look, his heart racing, ready to come out of his ribs. "No way!" He mumbled, shakesd his head, and returned his gaze to the blue pajamas he was holding. Jas went back to the bedroom and dressed Yoori. He then turned her carefully and covered her with the bed covers. Caressing her small round face, he kissed her forehead and called, "Doll." He kissed her repetitively, playing with her wet hair.
His heart thumped wildly as he inhaled her lemon-like scent. "Doll!" He called again, and Yoori stirred in her sleep, getting out of the covers. He watched her back under the warm covers and swallowed dryly, his Adam's apple bubbling up and down. Red marks were imprinted all over her body. He expected it to take up to three days for them to fade and others to imprint again.
As he watched her sleep, numerous thoughts rushed through his brain. "What if she is the one?" That annoying voice, which hides in every being's head waiting for the perfect time to attack and make a person restless, screamed. "No way! It can't be. " He mummbled loud enough for a person to hear, and Yoori groaned.
Looking at her one last time, he took one of her jacket's, kissed her forehead, and put it on. With a sigh escaping his lips, he whimmed, "The suit must belong to her ex-boyfriend or someone else close to her." He told himself, inwardly hoping it wasn't what he was thinking.
"Which part of the world did she take her to?" Jas asked the nurse. The news that Yoori's mother was still alive and had been flown to City X sent a new wave of hope surging through him.Yoori, on the other side, was so happy that she couldn't control her tears. Just a moment ago she was sad, thinking she would never see her mother again, but that confession made her happy, and she was left feeling like the luckiest being on earth at that hour. According to Jas's dad, her mother had never seen her because the moment she was born, her aunt had stole her, and that's what bothered her. How will her mother recall her if she has never seen her? When she opened her eyes to see the world after she was born, she met her aunt's eyes staring down at her, and she had been referring to her as her mother since then. She knew it would be impossible for her real mother to know who she was, but she still hoped she would recognise her."They say blood is thicker than water." "I hope our blood will con
Yoori stared at Jas with her mouth wide open. "What do you mean by wanting to tell me about my real parents?" She asked, sucking a deep breath. "I mean the people who gave birth to you, not the ones who took care of you all your life." He sighed. Yoori had been telling him since they met that the people who took care of her since she was born may not be her real parents because of how they treated her, and he always asked her not to think that way. It was so heartbreaking that he was the one who had to break such bad news to her. "Listen, babe," he stroked her face, "my dad wanted to see me, right?" He is the one who told me all this. He claimed that he knew about your parents because they had been friends for a long time, and he is the one who knows who your real parents are."So where are they?" I would like to meet them. "Please, Jas," she begged."Of course we will go and look for them, honey, but you should know that we will only be looking for your mother be
"Gosh!" Yoori yelled the moment she tried to sit on the bed. She was so tired, and her whole body burned. Yawning, she rubbed her eyes and looked at that particular place beside her; it was empty. She ran her hands over the sheets, hoping for the warmth to rub over her palms, but the place was cold. It seemed like he had woken up a bit early. The phone rang, bringing her to her senses. A thousand missed calls were displayed on her screensaver. What astonished her more was that the calls weren't from the same person but from different people. Most of them were the many business friends she had met in the few years she has been living in Bradley City. Her eyes also caught a particular group name, which made her heart skip a bit. "The worldwide gossip group." She gasped, jumped from the bed, and opened her computer. "God, has Kelvin lied again?" She couldn't believe it. Fear gripping her heart, she screamed the first name that came to her mouth, and a handsome figure, tying an apron over
The moment Jas's plane landed at Bradley International Airport, his blue eyes darted at the far corner to look for someone. And just like he had expected, the figure was there eagerly waiting for him, with both her hands clutched around her tummy. She was nervous. She does that whenever she is afraid of something or has no idea how to face a situation. Before his plane flew away, he sent her a message about coming back. She was surprised because the other day he had told her he'd be coming back after a month. And of course, he told her how his dad chased him out of the mansion just to go back to her. A voice whispered against his left ear, tickling him, and he cursed, "What the heck, Winter?" He had insisted on flying back with him, which he didn't refuse."Our girl is over there, waiting for us." He ran away. Jas snubbed him and pretended like he hadn't heard anything. Winter was busy trying to get on his nerves, and he wasn't going to give him that chance. After taking his luggage,
"I don't like what you're doing, my little delicate pumpkin." An old man, with his handsome face twisted into a mocking smile, said. The handsome figure sitting on the bed turned around to look at him and frowned. "Dad!" He cried, walking away. He has been addressed by that name since he was a toddler, and now that he is twenty-four, he doesn't see any need for that name. He was a grown man, but no matter how hard he tried to make his father understand, he just snubbed him. "Is my little delicate pumpkin sad?" "He liked that name so much when he was young that he even got angry when I called him by a different name." The man laughed, following his son behind. "That was long ago." I don't want to hear that name again. He frowned even more, trying to outrun his dad, who was a few steps away from him. "I'll stop calling you by that name when you tell me why you're torturing that Yoori girl." "Isn't she your girlfriend?" "Why are you making her worried?" He was asked. That handsome old
After sending a goodnight message to her boyfriend, Jas, Yoori arranged her files and prepared to leave for home. When he was done making arrangements, cleaning her office, and locking all the doors in the company, she proceeded downstairs towards the garage. Usually, it's the security guard who does all that. She had made it clear to him that he should clean her office and lock all the doors once every worker had left for home, but that day it was a duty since she had received a message that the security guard was involved in an accident while going to the office and was hospitalized. On that thought, she grabbed her phone and called Tia, the security guard's wife, and asked about his condition. She sighed in relief when she was told that he had started responding to medications. Earlier, when the guard was wheeled to the emergency room, the doctor and nurses were worried since he was not responding to medications. In fact, they thought that he was about to lose his soul to the demon
