I stilled at the question, and a cold crept up my spine. My head snapped to the back, and I gasped in fear to see Blair at my back. How did she get in?

I said nothing to her at first. I wasn’t going to confront her in front of my babies, so I turned back to them with the most genuine smile I could muster.

“Mummy, who is she? Is she a bad person?” Keita asked, his brows in a frown as he kept watching her from the end of the screen.

“Keita, why don’t you keep your siblings company? I have to attend to my guest, and I’ll call you back as soon as I finish here, okay? Maybe Dad will be back by then, and you can talk to him too. Is that a good deal?” I proposed, knowing they might protest a bit.

“Okay?” He answered with uncertainty, still not taking his eyes off Blair. “Will you be fine, Mom?” He asked again, and I nodded.

“Of course, I’ll be fine. I know her,” I said, but they looked like they didn’t believe me. Just like the twins, though, Little Ro had a curious expression on his face as
