CHAPTER 5: HER PAIN.

Yna, the omega, she have been identifying herself with Xanders pack. She only did that because of the ancient rule and bond that existed there. She knew that she was the next Luna of the pack, but when the time of being Luna had arrived, she got rejected by her mate, the Alpha. How sad!

Yna was crying when she left the Xanders pack, she had no idea where she was going. She wondered to the forest as her heart beat faster. The words that Alpha Angelo had told her replayed in her mind. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her heart and her body, her wolf Yna was howling like a mad wolf, she couldn't take the pain. She stopped walking and kneeled on the ground, blood was dripping from her mouth. Parts of her hands turned into claws. Her anger overwhelmed her, the wolf was trying to take the control of her body. Yna knows very we that she will go into rampage if she allows the wolf to take the control. Considering the fact that she was only and Omega, and weak. There was no way she was going to start war.

Yna was not angry too because she was rejected, although that was part of the reason she was but, she was angry, considering how much time she has wasted showing love to the Alpha Angelo. How much she has been caring for him, since the death of his father. How she hoped to be the Luna of the pack one day and the mate to the Alpha. But all that has to be forgotten now. Alpha didn't waste any minute to reject and break the ancient rule. She has to look forward at the consequences she will have to face as a rejected mate.

Her wolf continued howling in pain as she remained kneeling. Remembering what she wanted to tell the alpha, made the pain more excruciating than before.

Yna wanted to him that it was not her desperation to seduce him, it was her love for Angelo.

She wanted to tell him that she loved him dearly. That, that, was the reason she had stayed by his side even when Angelo asked her to stay away from him during his father's dismiss.

Yna wanted to inform Angelo that she was afraid of the rejection not because of the consequences she will bear but because of the pain from the heartbreak, and she feared the ancient rules Angelo had gone against.

She cried in pain as she wiped the blood from her mouth. She can't believe that her mate rejected her, just like a joke. Furthermore, she was not believing it.

It started raining and Yna didn't know what to do. She started walking deep inside the forest, she was tired and bitter because of crying and her wolf howling. Yna didn't know what was happening, everywhere become black, and before she knew it, she passed out.

Thirty minutes later, Yna woke up, her head was still spinning. She opened her eyes, but the light of the room made her shut them tightly. Yna blinked severally, trying to adjust to the light of the room.

The room was strange, so strange that she sat up abruptly and started to scan the environment around.

“No, where am I ?” she murmured.

She looked around again, looked at a king-sized bed, the warm bedding she has been sleeping on…

Oh, no!…she looked down at her clothes, and she was in new clothes.

“What happened to me?” She asked again.

Trying to remember where she was before blackout, everything came rushing back to her mind. Before she could do anything, the door opened and a woman walked in, with a tray full of food.

“You are awake?” She asked.

“Who are you? Where am I?”

The woman chuckled, she placed the Trey of food on the small table in the room and turned and looked at her.

“Eat some food dear, you have been rained on, and your health might be worse,” The woman said.

“Where am I?” Yna asked again, “And who are you?”

The woman chuckled, “You are in the pack, so go ahead and eat Omega.”

‘What? In the pack? Did Alpha Angelo came for me?’ Yna thought happily. ‘My mate came for me, oh Alpha Angelo came for me, yes… I knew my love and ancient rule are so strong for me to reject and leave me like that.’

Yna thought happily, the sad face become smile once again. She zoomed her eyes to the food, she was about to pick the tray of food, but she looked around once again. It downed on her that she haven't asked the pack she was in, neither does she recognize the room she was. She has never seen this room, even the woman who has brought the food.

“Which pack is this? I don't recognize it,” Yna asked.

“Why can't you go ahead and eat first?” the woman said.

Yna, with squinted eyes, stared at the woman then back to the food. She adjusted her sitting position on bed.

The woman brought the food to her, Yna picked the plate. She picked the piece of meat and was about to bite it when the door opens.

The plate and the meat in her hand dropped on the floor, with her mouth a gape and frown brows. Yna stood, “You!” she exclaimed with her finger pointing at the person at the door.
