Masuk"Cheers!!!"
Hot steam rose beneath the bright lights, accompanied by the sound of wine - filled glasses clinking together and cutleries against porcelain plates. Alan sat far off, his almond eyes lingering on his rather drunken employees who were still lost in their merriment with a rather indifferent look. He lowered his eyes, staring at his half - filled glass of wine with a bored sigh- Oh, what he would give to be home at this moment! He would rather prefer the comfort of his bed.....than having to socialize with these drunken people. He'd rather be done with it. Lifting the glass, he gulped all it's contents in one sip. Straightening his clothes, he stood up..... prepared and ready to leave. "I'll be taking my leave now, take care everyone." - Alan bowed deeply, strands of hair falling over his face. He stood, watching everyone still indulging in foods and drinks - Uncertain if they had even heard a word of what he'd said. Alan shrugged, tucking away a stray strand of hair behind his ears, his expression unreadable - Not like their attention could change anything, it was better this way. Outside, he took a simple stroll, the evening breeze blowing coolly against his skin. He stared up at the skies, watching the orange - red rays of the setting sun silently. He took a deep inhale, a small smile carved on his lips. "Oh my god, is that the Fourth Master Chu!!" " It really is the Fourth Master Chu, is this another proposal."- A feminine voice squeaked with excitement. " Let's go over, quickly!!" Alan paused, his head turning towards the source of the commotion- Fourth Young Master Chu?. He blinked, his curiousity piquing with every passing moment; What proposal could the fourth Young Master be planning?. He watched as a huge crowd of people flocked towards a spot while he trailed behind them quietly. He stood behind a pillar, watching the entire scene unfold - he was quite lucky, he had a pretty, good viewing spot and he didn't have to bother about getting bumped into admist the crowd below. Dylan stood out amongst the crowd, his dark hair combed to perfection and his petite frame claded in a material that was all too familiar to Alan. He held a large bouquet of roses and a boxed dessert on the other hand, his profile appearing too stunning for the eyes. He took two steps forward, silently approaching a red - haired male who seemed about in his early twenties, dressed in such a tacky fashion and was accompanied by two curvy ladies. He also had his friends around him, each one staring down at Dylan with condescending eyes that seemed too smug. "Simone......I love you, and i want us to be in a relationship as a couple!!" - Dylan announced in a clear voice. The hall quietened, the silence hanging like a thick veil - almost as if everyone had suddenly held their breaths on wisp. The red - haired male stepped forward, reaching out for the bouquet of roses. His eyes filled with silent contemplation as he stared at the blooming, fresh roses and then at Dylan's expecting eyes. Without another thought he tossed the roses to the ground, trampling on them with his shoes tilled their petals scattered around in the dust. Gasps rippled through the halls, a clear expression of shock from the watching bystanders. "Dylan, how many times must i have to turn you away and how many times must you embarrass yourself in public like this?. You know....." - Simone paused, his deep voice ringing out with contempt. "As the only son of the Chu family, you're an absolute disgrace. I don't accept your proposal, just looking at you disgusts me to the core." - He turned, spitting at close to Dylan's feet. "I'll never fall in love with a man, especially not you. So quit setting up proposals like this, cause you'll be the only one getting hurt." Simone wiped his hands, scrubbing hard like he had touched some filthy dirt. Tossing the handkerchief to the ground, he walked away with his envoy, not sparing Dylan another glance. Dylan stared at Simone's back, the last bit of hope fading out of his eyes. He shut his eyes, blocking out the tears that threatened to slip out the corners of his eyes. His chest hurt, aching from the heartbreak - He'd waited for so long, tried so hard and yet, he couldn't make that person love him. "Ah, Young Master Chu is definitely unfortunate in love. Half a decade of pursuit and that scumbag still rejected him so mercilessly." " I heard that he had proposed for ninety - nine times, this was definitely the hundredth time. Our Young Master Chu has been through a lot, that Simone isn't even worthy of him, yet he keeps bending over backwards for such a douchebag. It makes me want to grieve." " How pitiful!!, it's truly heart- wrenching to see my poor Young Master like this." Alan eyes settled on Dylan's frame, staring as he stood there with his shoulders slumped heavily by his sides. It was obvious that he was grieving....... clear that he was mourning his first love. Dylan's eyes lingered on the trampled flowers, tears brimming in his eyes - But men never cry. He couldn't cry....he wiped his tears with the back of his sleeves. ************************ "Aren't you going to see him?" Two men stood by, watching as the crowd slowly dispersed. The blonde- haired male lit a cigarette, taking a long drag before releasing a satisfying puff of smoke, "He looks like he might be needing someone to accompany him through this tough patch." The dark-haired make chuckled deeply, his hands buried deep in his long, black coat. " Are you kidding me....?. Dylan has always been afraid of me, always cowering and avoiding me every time we crossed paths." He paused, his gaze deep like he were lost in thought. " Even if i went, i can't be sure that he would really fancy my being around him. It's best to just watch him at a distance." He watched his companion take another drag of his cigarette, the cold breeze ruffling his long, brightly golden hair. They looked like a pair, isolated and abandoned by the world, yet holding immense power. "I never thought that stalking would be one of your hobbies, ........Very sketchy." - The blonde male added, his voice raspy. ......... chuckled deeply, his grey eyes settling at his psycho of a partner. "That's quite rich, coming from a stalking pervert like you." They stared at each other for a moment, a small laugh breaking in between them. No words.... just a shared depravity."Cheers!!!" Wow!. How...... aesthetic. Alan placed the stack of files on the medium-sized desk. Stretching his arms out, he felt the smooth walls coldly pressed against his fingertips. He lowered his arms, staring at the small, poorly furnished space with an amused look. He let out a small laugh - All of these on such short notice..... their hospitality was truly heart- warming. It almost, literally moved him to tears. He walked over, taking a sit - At least they remembered the chair. For that, he was truly grateful. He picked up a file, calmly adjusting his tie with a practiced, professionalism. He only had less than a month to figure out the true culprit behind the billion dollar theft and time wasn't really on his side.ONE HOUR LATER........*What's it with these random numbers.....?. They're driving me insane.* He held his head, his elbows resting on his desk as he stared at the sprawled papers which happended to be his fifth file in a row.*It aches....it aches so bad. Reading these file
The cool breeze blew gently, softly tugging at Alan's clothes. He raised his arm, shielding his eyes from the bright sun rays - The Gu family manor certainly had a great, natural aesthetic. The scent of lush green trees and the soothing melody of birds chirping, he bit his lower lip - It's too bad that he wasn't in the right state to appreciate such delicate, craftsmanship. He'd only successfully bought some time, but..... could he really prove his innocence. He raked his fingers through his coffee brown hair, a soft, exhausted sigh escaping his lips. The Old man had allowed him to remain in the company, only until he could recover the stolen money...... Or else, face imprisonment. He blinked, a vivid image of the Old Gu staring at him with unfiltered contempt flashing through his eyes.Ahhh, and here he hoped the previous host had it easy! He palmed his face, uncertain of what yet to do. Going to the company seemed to be his only way out, at least, he had a starting point. He sh
" You ungrateful little twerp!!" Alan settled his calm eyes on the aged man sitting on one of the luxurious sofas, accompanied by two women. He blinked silently in confusion, his head tilting slightly to the side. "After all i've done raising you..... You still dared to commit such a crime, embezzling company funds." - The man heaved angrily, his tired eyes reddening in fury. "I never knew my Gu family would one day raise a white - eyed wolf and that it would be you of all people." He picked up another fine, porcelain tea cup, this time aiming for Alan's head. "I'd rather kill you now, than let you embarrass me anymore in the future!!" "Chairman Gu, don't be so reckless!!. You will only end up making the matter worse." - The older lady held the old man's hand, preventing him from hurling the porcelain cup at the still- perplexed Alan." Yes, Father..... brother might have fallen short in many ways, but he's still your son and the heir to Gu's group. You've got to keep your temper a
[Mission successful!!. 300 resentment points has been deducted!][ Fifteen points has been successfully rewarded!]Alan tossed the shopping bags into the car, quietly listening to the mechanic drone of the system analyzing his reward with slightly arched brows. He adjusted his shades, his hands resting on the stirring wheel - Actually, he hadn't done much..... just toyed with the young master's pride a little. He definitely wouldn't take offense.... would he?. Either ways...! - Alan exhaled deeply, his slender fingers drumming against the stirring wheel. He could just consider that cloth as compensation, Alan relaxed, reclining into his seat. A faint buzz caught his attention, his eyes narrowing as he picked up his phone. He swiped his fingers, watching as the once dark screen lit up almost instantly. "A text message?" - Alan mused softly, his tone filled with piqued curiosity. He was only just getting used to this new identity, not yet certain if he wanted to get involved in the
[Resentment meter is currently at : +100]Alan rolled his eyes subconsciously - There goes his chance to have a lovely, carefree day. His thin brows knitted with upmost displeasure, here he was stuck with an over pampered young master. A flimsy feud over an overpriced two piece clothing...... How else could his day go wrong?!. The saleslady stepped aside, keeping a small, yet safe distance away from the mannequin. Her buried head mirrored her fear, almost as if she was desperately trying to make her presence as small as possible. No one has ever provoked this young master and seen a good ending. She bit her trembling lips, her lashes fluttering with regret - There goes her chance of having a huge tip. Strands of hair fell down her face, the pinching feeling of being deprived such an enticing bonus, almost moved her to tears. "Excuse me." - Alan stepped forward, his left hand raised in a carelessly, relaxed manner. His cool, confidently firm voice attracted not only Dylan's irritate
