I was in shock over what Bridget had told me. It made no sense no matter how much I thought about it.
How could one easily give up after going through so much for someone?
Because of that, I couldn't even sleep much and Henry was upset with me.
I sighed softly while I faced the balcony.
"Talk to me," Henry said as he approached me and sat next to me on the couch.
"Are you not upset with me anymore?" I asked sadly.
He smiled then held my hand in his.
"I'm not upset with you in that way. I just don't like the idea of you staying up the whole night as if it's punishment. Paula, you are no longer alone, you are carrying our child. So before you decide to not eat or keep awake, please do think of that." He said seriously.
