Chapter 19 Broken Trust of a Daughter

Axel's pov

Nick finally made it safely to the pack house and due to the rain, most of the pack members were lounging around inside of their section. Their faces peered out of the windows watching us as we drove up the slippery mud drive in front of the Alpha's section.

"Take her up to your room. If the witches arrive they won't look there," Nick suggested.

"Her mother knows exactly where my room is because your dad took her there the last time she was here!"

Nick huffed and went to help me with the front door. Getting out with the rain pelting me I sighed in irritation. Opening the back door I peered down at my tiny mate. Gathering Raija in my arms I grin at her due to her intoxicating scent filling my sensitive nose.
