1 Escape from wedding

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride ” The priest announced while everybody clapped happily.

Paige Adams, who is still trapped in a trance from the sharp drug she was poisoned with, which made her dizzy, slowly opened her eyes and got shocked to see she was not in her original hangout.

She was standing in front of lots of people, wearing a wedding dress, she looked at the man who had dared to trick her into marrying him.

It was none other than the man who proposed to her when they were in college, Sam, and her shameless, ungrateful family!

“I have an objection!” She stood on her ground and made her voice loud enough to be heard. She threw off the veil and rubbed off her makeup.

Her words made each of every one seated presently in the venue stare at each other in a confused manner. Her aunt, Adams Belinda, stood up from amongst the crowd.

“Paige Adams! You are the bride, you have no objection!” She tried to hush her husband's niece from interfering with the wedding ceremony.

Paige Adams smiled at her with utmost mockery, took a glimpse, and perhaps, had an idea of what was going on!

Before this occurred, she was in a club, drinking and twerking and now, she is in a wedding dress getting married to her college classmate, Sam.

Her guesses were probably correct. She was drugged and forced to marry her smelling classmate without her consent! Paige Adams maintained an evil grin on her cheeks and swiped the microphone off the priest's hand.

“Woah! Can you all imagine that I was drugged and dragged here to get married to an old fogey?” Paige Adams threw her question openly especially to someone she despised so much, her uncle, her aunty and bitchy niece.

From the day her parents were confirmed dead in a car accident, Paige Adams was made to live with her father's brother, Adams Ivan, who not only made life difficult for her but tried to sell her off to some old ugly rich men.

“Paige Adams, I am doing this for your own good!” The aunt tried to defend herself while making a pleading look to the man standing there receiving all the insults.

“My own good? Then you might as well marry him, cause I am leaving!” Paige Adams tore off the long wedding gown into a short mini gown, and jumped off the stage to the chairs occupied by the audience.

She removed the hair decorations knitted on her head and chortled maniacally.

“Catch her! Do not let her escape!” Her uncle yelled as the hefty security guards came in, forming a huge human barrier around the exit.

“It has been long since I have had a good fight. Time to try out my skills ” She jerked on top of one of the guard's head, kicked him in the face. He yelped in pain giving her more distractions for her to run.

The audience were surprised to see the other side of the person their colleague claimed to be normal. Obviously, she had  mental issues!

Paige Adams cared less about embarrassing herself and cared more about escaping from her uncle's evil plan of rotting her off.

She was not going to allow herself to be sold to some old fogey all in the name of money and family relationship.

Paige Adams climbed the window having spotted her runaway vehicle, folded her arms tightly against her shoulders and fell backwards.

They all gasped as she fell through the ten storey building and when they heard a bang sound, Everybody looked to see if she was still okay and alive. They sighed frustratedly and rolled their eyes. Paige was very much alive after that fall and had landed on a blue bean bag.

She stood up from the soft bag on the floor and kept running. Throwing open a car parked at the entrance of the venue, a black maybach car to be precise, hijacked it and started the car

She shut the door tightly, took a deep breath, turned the key in its hole and stepped on the brakes immediately and drove madly not knowing there was someone in the car. Her mind was only on escaping from them that she did not notice the masculine figure seated on the chair at the back of the car.

Her uncle, Ivan also did not hesitate to enter his car and drive after his niece. Paige Adams stepped on the brake with force, drifting the car to a crowded place in order to avoid him.

The car shrieked with a loud noise as the car kept driving with force. She adjusted the side mirror and gasped when she saw a man seated at the back seat with a black sunglasses on his eyes.

His suit spelt rich and expensive as it was made with the latest, and most expensive animal fur in the world.

Paige Adams was not given a chance to explain when she heard his voice. She gulped and gazed at him through the mirror

“Who are you?” A male voice was heard in the car.

“I should be asking you! This is my car! Why are you sitting in it?” Paige Adams also threw the question back at him.

Her friend planned everything forehand and a smooth escape was her aim in the end. She swore she had memorized the car number before jumping into it, yet, this man claimed it was his car.

“I guess you are mistaken, Miss. This is my car and you are going to be sued for theft if you do not drive it back ” He was not interested in exchanging pleasantries with the thief in a wedding gown, and retorted with a rude voice.

This girl was obviously a thief with an arrogant attitude. He hated the kind of people who possessed such terrible behaviors.

“Sue me? Ahhh!” Paige Adams chuckled and waved her hand across his face. “I am Paige Adams, the daughter of the Adams', if you have any problem with me then fuck yourself!”

She lashed out on him. Her late father was the most respectful human being, with billions of properties surfaced around the entire world leaving her only the heir to those properties.

“You think I can not sue you just because you are one of the Adams'?” He asked once more to see whether she would change her tone.

Unknown to him, she was not even ready to be more polite with him, Paige Adams looked at him and chuckled more.

“You are blind right?”

“I might be blind but not deaf!” He shot back at her while his glasses fell off.

Paige Adams gasped. She had seen this man's face from somewhere, maybe the media or something but could not recognise him.

“You have got a sassy attitude for a blind man!” She twirled the car steering wheel and avoided the huge crash into a building.

The car drifted to the left and crashed into a small wooden fruit shop. Paige Adams hopped to the back seat and held the blind man from the crash.

The Car banged into the wooden fruit shop and smoke started to come out from the bonnet.

His secretary, who also chased after the  stolen car on foot, saw the accident and ran to help the boss.

He tore the door off with both his hands and widened his eyes.

A woman was on top of his boss. He smashed his fingers together and kept a pleading look.

He had a guess that this was definitely the girl who ran away from her own wedding, a psycho for that matter and now she was on top of him. He was very sure that he would lose his job this instant, it only took a matter of seconds.

Paige Adams kicked the door that was beside her open and came down from the Maybach, blew a kiss towards the man and ran off down the street.

“Boss, I can explain, I do not know who she is and where she came from. ” Morris Hayden quickly defended himself.

He parked the car having its doors unlocked and had gone inside the venue to complain about the invitation given to them previously.

Last week, they had trouble with the mailing system and instead of getting mail for a business party, they were given one to a wedding ceremony of a person they never knew.

He pulled open the car handle and came down. He smelt smoke from the bonnet and knew that they were not going to be able to fix this car.

“Get me the information of that girl, Paige Adams ”

“Boss? Her?” He asked again, surprised. He heard that the Adams' were crazy, and most of all, their children were psycho, especially the young heiress, Paige Adams.

“Let me not repeat my statement again.”  He fiercely replied while dialing a taxi number. This girl did have guts to steal his car and yet, left him insulted.

For her to be this bold meant she did not fear what he could do! That girl is obviously too daring.

In the Adams' mansion.

Her aunt paced round the room as the newspaper and her phone were tightly clenched in her palms. Paige Adams' psycho behavior became the hottest trending topic with many hashtags just in a few minutes.

The Adams’, at last, came to a conclusion to have their hidden niece introduced as the Adams' second daughter to the public, and in return she brought nothing but shame to them fast.

Her uncle, Ivan, massaged his temples exhaustedly, sat on the dining chair and remained frozen. He was not at peace at all.

His name was ranking hot on Weibo and on most media websites. Half his business deals were canceled instantly due to the rude and unacceptable comments present on the internet.

“Where is that devil?! Why has she not returned?!” He impatiently let his fury out on his wife. She returned to him a mocking expression, and turned her back on him, dialing several of her friends' numbers.

This child is just a devil sent from hell. In her twenties, she was still childish, ignorant and on top of her empty brain, she was arrogant!

The door's handle was pulled open by one of the servants, as Paige Adams walked inside well dressed into the dining room. She sat on the last seat of the table and spoke up.

“How was my behavior? Quite nice right?” Paige Adams made her words and voice filled with nothing, but sarcasm.

Her uncle could not take her arrogant, stupid attitude, and banged the table with his hands. He pointed towards her and lashed out on her.

“Are you well satisfied with the result?! Congratulations! ” He yelled furiously at her. Paige Adams had no comments on her face but only an annoying smile.

She molded her face to the exact mood of her uncle and kept staring at them.

So they have the right to sell her off yet she does not have the right to not get married off without her permission?

“I thought this was all an act. Seriously, I did. Anyway, we can do more of this, I had lots of fun ”
