She cheerfully responded back and clapped her hands like a child.

Paige Adams had always been one who hid herself and talent for them to accept her, however, she was done hiding and from now on, was going to expose their evil deeds.

“Shut the fuck up! Take a look, the social media has you all over it. Photos and videos of you and your unruly behavior are trending now with so much crazy hastag. Do you enjoy bringing embarrassment to us?”

           Adams Belinda added too.

The media took no pity on her, and continued uploading more videos of the wedding disaster adding more hilarious tags.  Very few citizens were disgusted with her, while most of them were left in awe.

The day Mr. Adams finally introduced to them, his second daughter that was hidden for so long turned out to be the same day she came out famous.

Paige Adams read some comments in her mind and just laughed internally. This is the beginning of karma, she thought and definitely, she was not going to stop until they had gotten their rightful punishment whether they liked it or not.

“Look at the way she ran, so not lady like!”

“What kind of beast did the Adams' raise, I hope she does not corrupt our princess Alyssa .”

“Sometimes, I wonder if this is truly a human being ”

“So cool. She looked so real like the new wonder lady. ”

Paige Adams only giggled as she watched the video. No expressions appeared on her face while thinking internally.

Even a shock expression did not appear right on her face, like she had planned to do that.

“I didn't even know I could be this popular. Wow! My jump from the building is so cool. Who is this editor? I need to find him ”

She did not even put any single care to why they summoned her and only made things worse with her mocking looks.

“You are very embarrassing! Can't you be more like your sister!” Her father roared back at her.

“Because she is not my sister!” She fumed. Was she stupid that at twenty three years old, she would not be able to differentiate her blood from fake shitty people?

She could not understand why they held onto her as a gem and still treated her like a piece of rag.

“Paige Adams! ” He yelled with his voice at the top of his lungs.

“How long would you keep deceiving me? I am neither stupid nor a fool! You are not my blood father. You are just a child kidnapper!”

Paige also yelled back. After the accident, she landed up in the hospital with half her memories wiped off. She could not remember her surname nor how her parents looked.

Somehow, the Adams' came to her rescue and adopted her into the family, letting her take their surname.

From then, she became the hidden daughter, a shameful one that her adopted father refused to even present to the world.

“And so what if I am a kidnapper? What if I took you in?! Without me, you will not be living this kind of rich life!”

“Then I fuck such life, I fuck until it squirts out its cum!” She took her bag from the dining table and ran outside.

“Father, how long are we going to keep her here? She knows that she is not one of us, why still keep her?” Adams Alyssa questioned with jealousy in her words. Herself and her mother could not reason out the possible excuse to have her trained by the Adams'

She was not willing to be obedient and Alyssa had enough of her attitude. She was exhausted with having to pretend that liked her while deep down in her heart she wished for her to die, an ugly death for that matter.

“Honey, I hope that is not one of your illegitimate children from sleeping around with women! If not, then kick her out!”

“Can you use your brain for once? She is the reason for all this wealth. If I did not kidnap her, do you think we would be filthy rich? Once my master gives his command for her disposal then I can let go off her but not now ” With that said, he calmed himself down and glared at the door where she had just passed through.

This girl was his ticket to an unending wealth and losing her was not  the best option to offer.

                             ...............

Paige Adams boarded a taxi and sat silently in the taxi. Taking her car would be risky considering she was going to see  Mr. Adams' supposed dead wife.

When she was adopted by the Adams', she was used to seeing a lovely, young, polite and agile woman as his wife before this devilish one got married to him.

Paige Adams shut down every possible device they could use to track her  recent movements and rested her head on the chair.

The drive went silent and soothing. She requested for a change of music, after a moment of thinking, the driver agreed to her request.

It did not take long before she reached a deserted area, she paid the taxi fare and came down. Her mask was raised up, her hands were tucked into her jeans as she walked into the hospital.

Showing her VIP card, she was allowed into the hospital and directed to the ICU unit where the woman she was longing to see was connected with tubes.

Paige Adams removed the mask and lowered the black sun shade down to her nose bridge. She took a look at the woman who laid silently with her two arms paralyzed and her legs too.

“Auntie, it is me, Paige Adams .” She called out with a touch of baby voice. The bad ass Paige had just turned into a lovely fellow with a kind heart.

She dropped the nylon bag of toiletries on the floor and helped open the curtains. She breathed in the hospital smell and felt cringed up.

Luckily, she had some money from her last job to fund the surgery of the woman. She strode to the bed, hung her limited edition purse on the fluffy couch and sat on the bed.

She held the fingers of the woman and sighed deeply. This woman staying here was her thick skinned uncle's wife who suddenly disappeared without a trace after being confirmed dead.

Paige Adams perhaps had a guess that she might have found his evil deed and tried to file for a divorce before she was shot and fell into a huge ocean.

This woman in a coma on the bed was her only ticket to exposing her uncle's bad deeds. It took half of the marine fighters to get her body out of the Fieli Ocean and surprisingly, her whole body parts were intact with no harm just that she was in coma for lots of years.

“Auntie Khloe, do wake up. I miss you ” She caressed her wrinkles. The door opened as a doctor walked in.

He gave his pleasantries and took his daily check ups on Auntie Beatrice.

“What is the result? Any hope for her recovery?" She looked desperate at the doctor. He wore a pity look on his face while shaking his head.

It has been five good years since she was brought to this exact hospital, however, she showed no sign of recovery or even a slight movement.

She was just stagnant and not a slight response to the treatment. Even their best medical team seemed like quacks when dealing with her own case.

He laid his stethoscope on her chest and unplugged it from his ears. His sigh deepened further, as usual no heartbeats.

“I am sorry Miss Adams. I do not think her case is curable. For over five years, she has been receiving medications from the best American doctors we have and yet, no single heartbeat. I suggest you take her abroad. ”

He gave his suggestions. Paige Adams took the doctor to her liking. At least he was not one of those who only prolonged their patient's disease just to rip people off their money. He had a sincere heart and took a liking to Auntie Khloe.

“So, she has no single response to the treatment? Why do you not try another way? She is very special to me and losing her is not an option. If it means spending all the dime in my account to keep her life, I will ”

She replied with utmost confidence. She could not yet give up especially when the Adams' did not look happy with her new change and will find every way to get her off from their lives.

“I like your spirit, Miss Adams. For that, I think I can recommend this hospital to you. They specialize in this kind of case. I might discourage you from taking her there since they are quite expensive and a young lady like you will find it difficult paying off their bills ”

He scribbled some addresses of hospitals and phone numbers on a piece of note, searched if no one was coming and handed over the note to her.

This was illegal in their hospital. Recommending abroad treatments to patients, so he had to be very careful about this.

“Thank you so much. I do not know how to repay you ”

“You can do so by looking out for yourself. Presently, there is no urgent surgery so you can buy yourself some good things and enjoy life .”

Paige once again thanked him and even wanted to tip him but as always, he refused her kind gesture.

Once again, she wore her mask and sun shade back and left the hospital through the secret exit that was accessible to her only and no other visitors.

The same taxi which dropped her waited for her far away from the hospital. She entered the taxi and drove back.

Soon, she would be able to really know the cause and perpetrators of the death of her parents and why she was kept as a prisoner in her father's house.

Meanwhile.......

          Somewhere overseas.

“Your eyes are all healed again. You can see from now on .” The surgeon announced happily and removed the bandages on his eyes.

Calven Gray's eyes blinked again and he could finally see, finally.

It had been years since a tragic accident occurred that made him lose his sense of vision and deemed him blind but being able to see made him a lot happier.

“How do you feel being able to see?”

“It is normal. Normal I guess .” He murmured to himself. There was nothing special about his dream.

After a year of going through several eyes surgeries and therapies, he was able to regain his sight but something felt missing. The feeling of being able to see was not there, the feeling that he could not tell.

Maybe he was used to being blind for a whole of four years or even more. The door was pulled open by the Secretary as he brought in his finished task.

“It took you so long ” Calven Gray took a mental note to deduct from his salary for this month.

He hated lazy workers and punished them by taking off from their salaries as a warning to them.

To work for him, they had to be agile always and not a slug.

“Sorry, boss. It is just that I had some complications while finding her information. Should I read it to you?”

“Do I still look blind to you?”Calven jokingly added. He could at last read his phone texts, contracts and documents without having any person read it out to him.
