"Lorelei, Sienna is an orphan. She's never spent the holidays with anyone before. I only agreed to take her on a holiday because I pity her.

I looked up in a daze at the familiar gentle voice. The man standing in front of me was Marcus Shadowhow, the man whom I had been in love with for the past six years.

Standing behind him, looking terrified and aggrieved, was Sienna Nightsky—Marcus's assistant for the past six months.

Sienna, feigning a pitiful act, said, "Why don't we forget about it, Marcus? I started to help Marcus pack his luggage. He stood next to me, looking on. Somehow, there was a weird feeling festering inside him.

In the past, whenever he brought up Sienna, I would get jealous and quarrel with him. However, at that moment, I calmly allowed him to go on a holiday with Sienna.

Marcus sized me up suspiciously. When he saw the slight baby bump, he smiled as if he thought he had found the reason why I was acting so oddly.

Sienna snatched the luggage bag from me. It dropped onto the floor with a loud clang.

My heart skipped a beat, and I suddenly realized how familiar this scenario was to me—I had returned to the day when Sienna insisted on going to the beach.

In my past life, on this day, Marcus took Sienna to look for me and told me he was going to spend Christmas with her on the beach.
