Claude’s POV Present… Previously… “Claude!!! I’ve been waiting for you. Let’s get going else we’ll be late for class” I heard Victoria say. She was running towards me with smiles on her face. Claude’s POV As I stepped into my house I heaved a breath and looked around. “Seems like nothing changed” I said to Ria who grunted in reply. “Sweetie, what are you doing back by this time?” I heard my mum's voice and froze, not wanting to turn back to see her face. She walked up to me and held my hands waiting for my response but I couldn’t seem to say a word. She was like the mum I had before they disowned me. So bubbly and happy. And I know that she doesn’t even remember anything from my previous life but I still feel upset about it. “Won’t you answer?” She asked, still looking at me, which made me snap out of my thoughts. “Oh I have notes of the class so there was no need attending it” I lied and saw her frown. “Your teacher just called me before you came in. Why are you lying and you are acting weird” she said and I laughed. “Don’t be so tense, mom. You know she doesn’t like me so she is just trying to make you angry with me” I smiled at her and made her sit on the couch.

Claude’s POV Continuation…. “So you mean Victoria put a spell on Denver to make him think that I was cheating on him with his best friend?” Claude asks her wolf, Ria, who nodded in response. She couldn’t believe that someone could do something so cruel just because she loves my mate. My mate for that matter. “Claude are you okay? Or should I get Denver for you because you seem to not remember me” Eric asked coming slowly to me. “I don’t remember him Ria what should I do now” I asked Ria feeling guilty and nervous because it seems like we were really close due to the concern in his eyes. “Just act normal and relieve that he saved you from those bunch of werewolves” Ria says and went back to her cage. I looked up at him and saw that he looks clean and he finally wore a clothe but just boxers. I saw a stream before so he must have washed the blood off himself there. “Can you wear a shirt” I asked him shyly and he laughed loud making me confused. Isn’t he meant to take it seriously

I looked at Denver and wished that although everyone is the same as my previous life at least he should believe this once and find out that Victoria did all this. He sighs and walks up to me. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact of a slap or something on my face. After what seemed like hours I slowly opened my eyes and saw him looking at me amusely and I think I saw a glint of love in his eyes.
