Alpha Axel POV

Gianna broke the kiss; it felt like a quick peck to the lips. She had a fearful look on her face; I didn't know if she was afraid of me or if she was afraid of her mate, who froze in place behind her. Either way, I found her situation amusing.

I curled my hand on her head and smashed my lips against hers. She didn't fight against me but gave in easily and allowed me to slowly kiss her in front of her mate. Her lips were soft and tempted me with desires to devour her mouth with my tongue, but I resisted the urge and slowly pulled away. The thumb of my fingers moves through her red cheeks. This time I couldn't stop the amused smile from coming to my lips.

"Gianna?!" Alpha Nathan's voice was broken; the expression on his face made me feel like kissing his mate again. "What is this? How could you have done this to me on our wedding day?"

I left Gianna as she turned around and faced her mate; for a second, she looked guilty, but the emotions were quickly replaced by anger and hatred. "What you did is even worse."

I made hand gestures to his neck, where the female wolf he had sex with left a noticeable love bite for his mate to see. As an alpha, my senses were stronger than other werewolves, the scent of another woman wrapped strongly around him, to show that his curseful betrayal has been recent, and yet he wants to play the victim and act as though he was innocent.

A pale look flashed on Alpha Nathan's face as he tried to use his hand to cover what had been left on his neck; the love bite left him with shame; his hand couldn't save the relationship he had already destroyed.

"I, Gianna Benton, reject you, alpha Nathan Holland, as my mate." Gianna said in a cold tone, If she felt any pain from her words, she didn't show it. "This wedding isn't happening," she stated firmly, and strangely at that moment, I thought she was cool.

Gianna Benton. I knew who she was before she had bumped into me by mistake. Secretly, I have been doing research about her family and the mysterious blood that flows in their veins that makes her family special and well respected for generations. When Alpha Nathan sent me his wedding invitation, I didn't want to come, but using his invitation as an excuse to come to his pack and find a wife, Gianna's sister, to be exact, was too perfect to miss out on. What I didn't know was that what I wanted would come running to me.

If Gianna thinks that I'm going to let her go after the words she muttered to me, then she was dreaming; I'm never letting her go, not after she willingly threw herself at me.

Alpha Nathan gave out a dry laugh; his regret was replaced by anger as he said, "You reject me?" He questioned in disbelief, "Who do you think you are to reject me?" He had a mad look in his eyes as he slowly approached Gianna.

She trembles slightly as she moves her body backwards, closer to me. Her pitiful situation was perfect, because once I saved her from her crazy mate, she would feel indebted to me and would be willing to marry me, not that she had a choice either way; I was going to make sure that I got what I wanted.

"Back off." I stood between Alpha Nathan and Gianna.

Alpha Nathan was angry, but his sense wasn't totally gone, because he didn't make any attempts to attack me. I was in the mood to please the woman who was hiding behind me so that I could use her without her knowledge. If Alpha Nathan let himself make the mistake of attacking me, I was to make sure that I put on a nice show, although we were both alphas; not all alphas were equal, and Alpha Nathan is far below me.

Alpha Nathan sighed heavily, roughly ran his finger through his hair in frustration, and said softly, "Come back to me, Gianna; let's forgive each other and move on away from this." He stretched his hand out for Gianna to take hold of it, but she ignored him and didn't even bother to look his way.

I smirk at Alpha Nathan, his mate is mine now, and to prove that to him, I repeat his actions and say to Gianna, "Come to me." She took my hand.

"Gianna, if you reject me, you are never going to find another mate, never again; no man would want to love a weak woman like you."

Gianna chuckled as she placed a hand on my chest. "I already found another mate; Alpha Axel is my second chance mate." She stared into my eyes pleadingly. I was so impressed with how smoothly she lied; it sounded so true that I would have believed her if I were Alpha Nathan.

"I didn't come here to attend your wedding; I came to take my mate away." I held Gianna's hand. "We are getting married tomorrow; of course you are invited, Alpha Nathan. The wedding might end up happening today if my mate insists. I brushed a piece of Gianna's hair that was covering her eyes; the shock on her face was amusing. "After all, I know that she can't wait to get married."

Nathan walked away; he was speechless.

"Are you sure about this?" beta Carl asked, and he looked at me through the rearview mirror from the driver's seat. "It's not too late for you to change your mind; our plan was to get her sister, not her." He said in a stubborn manner, "From what I heard, her sister is better than her. As alpha, you must be careful with who you choose to be your Luna."

I smiled at Carl's lecture; he was making a big deal out of nothing. I wasn't marrying because of love; "It doesn't matter which of the sisters becomes my Luna; all that matters is the blood that flows in their veins."

Gianna was outside the car talking with her parents, who were probably giving her good advice to run away from me. I was waiting in the car; my car was soundproof, so my conversation with Carl couldn't be heard. After Alpha Nathan's rejection, he lied to his pack members that Gianna cheated on him with me, and because of that he was breaking off their marriage. His pack members, along with Gianna's parents, hated her. I'm so happy that they resented her and want her out of their pack; that way she won't have silly thoughts of coming back to her pack after leaving with me.

"Let's go, Carl," I said after Gianna sat down in the car.

She was nervous as she turned to me and said, "About the wedding..."

"There's no negotiation about that; you begged me, and I accepted," I held her chin. "I'm the one who is in charge of the time and day of our wedding; take it as payment for my services. What I did earlier with you wasn't for free." My fingers brushed her lips; she pulled her face away from me and stared at the window.

You are trapped with me. Gianna Benton, from today onwards, you belong only to me.

Riley POV "My wife isn't going anywhere." Carl held my hand and sneered at Harlan. We were at the pack house because we were supposed to have a family dinner with Gianna and Axel. Ever since my marriage to Carl, Alpha Axel has insisted that I should stop calling him "alpha," because he's now a brother to me. It took me a while for me to get used to it, but I did.My cheek pulled into a faint smile as I thought of the past few days and the warmth of having a family. "Stop it. He's just a messenger; he hasn't done anything wrong. Besides, I want to see Alpha Easton again." Carl glared at me and possessively wrapped his arms around my waist. Refusing to let me go.Today was the last day of the alpha gathering. A lot of alpha left the pack yesterday, and some were finally leaving today. Easton was leaving today. After what had happened at my wedding, I hadn't gotten a chance to see him again. Not because I didn't want to. But because he refused to see me all through his stay in the p

Riley POV I move before Carl, as though I could feel him. I held his arms to stop him from hitting Alpha Easton. Carl growls loudly at Easton. Gianna and Axel watch from the front row of seats they occupied. They looked ready to drag Easton out of the wedding hall, and Gianna had a guilty look on her face. Carl doesn't understand, but I'm sure that alpha Easton is only acting this way because he cares about me. I ran to his pack the first time I wanted to get married, and the second time, he felt I was only getting married to Carl because I was pregnant. Wait... It seems I'm not pregnant after all. Somehow, knowing that made me relieved and slightly guilty because Carl really wanted us to have a child. I wasn't ready for having a child now, but with how nice Carl has been to me, along with his words of encouragement, I feel I can be ready to carry his pop one day. Just not today and not tomorrow."Please calm down," I beg Carl and then turn to Dr. Gatlin.Dr. Gatlin seemed out of

Alpha Easton's POV I'm here for the pack event. It's an important tradition that must be maintained among alphas. I'm here only because I'm doing my job; I'm not here to see that annoying omega. I have been restless all day long, chanting the same hopeless words to myself. I don't want to be like Nathan by growing an affection for a woman who didn't give a damn about me. Despite telling her that we were friends now and she was welcome in my pack whenever she wanted. She hasn't reached out to me once. With the way ladies drool over me and fight to spend a night with me on my bed, I never knew that I was a man who could easily be forgotten.Foolish omega, irritating woman. I want to see her even just once, but at the same time, I don't want her getting involved in my life anymore. She was such a mess the last time I saw her in my pack; maybe I'm just worried that she hasn't been able to get her life together again.I inwardly growl over my thoughts. Riley had her mate with her; of co

Carl POVMy heart thumped loudly in my ear, making me temporarily forget the sounds of my breath as I ran home, where I knew Riley was resting. I feel horrible for not knowing that my mate has been feeling sick. She and Gianna refused to say a word to me because of what I did, and I can't blame them for it. If I didn't meet Axel, who was still able to notice the subtle change in Riley's expression, I would still be in the dark. I'm grateful that my brother cares about my sorry ass.I threw the door to the house open, barely able to shut it behind me before rushing through the stairs and stopping in front of the room my mate was currently in. Hiding away from me. For days I have held back, giving her enough space and time to forgive me, but this time around I'm not going away. I need to see her and know that she's okay. That's the only thing that would calm me and my wolf.My knuckles softly hit the door as I control my agitation. There was a response, but I knew that she was insid

Riley POV Gianna stopped her excitement as a certain realization hit her. Having a baby wasn't bad, but this was something I never planned for; I can't bring myself to be as excited as she is even if I want to."I'm sorry." Gianna placed her hand behind my back, creating soothing circles around my tense muscles. "I got too excited with the idea that Dylan is finally going to have a playmate. When are you going to tell Carl?" She peers at me and then frowns. It's obvious that I have no intention of telling anyone about this.Carl would be overjoyed that we are going to have a pup. As much as I love it when he smiles, I don't want him to know that he won. He got me pregnant just like he wanted."Look I'm not in support of what Carl did." Gianna's tone was sober, with a serious expression on her face. "I want to be angry with him for a long time, but the deed has already been done. This isn't something you can go through alone. Let Carl stay at your side." I shift my angry gazes away

Riley POV "Careful..." The maid steadies the flowerpot in my hand with a pale expression on her face. She took it out of my hand and lined it up along with the other rolls of flowerpots that had been arranged. I mumbled out an apology to her, but she quickly dismissed it as she rushed to her next task. The pack was busy; everyone was preparing for an event. The Nuexus. It was an event where alphas from various packs gathered together. It's an old tradition that was meant to promote peace between different packs, and it took place once a year. Alpha Axel was the type of alpha who didn't care about associating with others, but ever since Gianna and Dylan came into his life. He had changed and was more willing to cooperate with others. The Nuexus makes use of one pack to hold the event that will be carrying on for weeks. Moonlight pack was chosen, and I think it's to test alpha Axel and how much he was willing to cooperate with other alphas after detaching himself from others for
