Gianna POV

"You and Alpha Nathan," distaste lingered in Axel's voice as he mentioned Nathan's name, "what did you two talk about?" There was a blank look on his face, but the tone of his voice carried raw anger.

I subtly glanced at Axel and walked towards the bed to lie down, but Axel quickly got up from his seat and stopped me. I just came back home—well, our temporary home, which was the hotel room we were staying in—and this was how Axel was going to welcome me?

I thought back to what Axel told me when I tried finding out what happened between him and Quinn, "Don't think too much about it." I said my words slowly with spite. and I felt satisfied when a frown came to Axel's face. Let him know how annoying it is to receive vigorous answers when you are curious, but with Quinn, I can already guess what she's up to. She was probably back to her bad habit of stealing the men in my life. What I didn't know is if Axel was falling for her tricks or not. Is he going to leave me? Forget that
