KIERAN

Dorian stood there, arms crossed, brows furrowed so tightly they nearly touched, eyes drilling into mine like I’d just told him I wanted to dance barefoot in a pit of venomous snakes.

“Kieran, you’ve lost your damn mind,” he said, voice low but sharp.

“Why the hell would you want to speak with Lucian? Lucian, Kieran. That man would slit your throat mid-conversation just to watch you bleed.”

I didn’t flinch. I stared back at him, calm, measured, because I’d thought this through. Or at least convinced myself I had.

“Because sometimes, Dorian, to outplay the devil, you need to look him in the eye. I need to know what game he’s playing.”

“You know exactly what game he’s playing,” Dorian snapped, stepping forward. “Destruction. Chaos. The bastard’s not subtle. He wants your head, he wants our pack destroyed, and you want to, what—share drinks over it?”

“I never said it would be drinks and laughter,” I muttered. “But I need to talk to him.”

“Why?” His voice broke, part frustration, p

KIERANAs I sat behind the massive oak desk in my chambers, flipping through the last of the parchment reports I’d been meaning to review all morning, I barely noticed the soft knock at the door. My guards, standing silently by the entrance, exchanged a glance before one of them leaned in to speak slowly.“One of the kitchen handmaids requests a word with you, Alpha.”I let out a slow breath, already feeling the tension curl deeper in my spine. “Send him in,” I muttered, pushing the parchments aside and sitting back in my chair. I expected the usual — a supply shortage, a dispute among staff, maybe even a spilled meal. But the second the young male handmaid stepped in, fidgeting with the hem of his apron and refusing to meet my eyes, I knew something was wrong. Very wrong. He hovered at the threshold, pale as a ghost, until I said.“Out. All of you. Now.”The guards didn’t hesitate — my tone alone made it clear this wasn’t up for discussion. They cleared the room in seconds, shutting

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   90. RARE MOMENT OF PEACE

RAVENThe following morning, just as I was settling into a rare moment of peace, one of Selene’s handmaids came tapping at the door like she had no sense of time or manners.“Lady Selene wants to see you,” she said with a slight bow, her voice just above a whisper, like she was afraid someone else might hear. I raised an eyebrow at her and crossed my arms.“Did she say what for?”“No, Raven,” she replied, her eyes darting away.I sighed dramatically and stood up, brushing my palms over my apron. “Of course she didn’t. When does the princess of pettiness ever explain herself?” I muttered under my breath, just loud enough for her to hear as I walked past. She pretended not to.By the time I got to Selene’s chamber, she was already sprawled across her fainting couch like some damsel out of a tragic love story, with her golden hair loose and lips pursed in a familiar pout that made my teeth itch. She didn’t even look at me before speaking.“Raven, I need you to get me those honey-crusted

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   89. LIKE A MAN POSSESSED

KIERANI didn’t even know what the hell came over me. One second I was pacing around in the Alpha’s quarters pretending to read some patrol reports, and the next I was making my way toward the servants’ wing like a man possessed. I had no damn business being there. No excuse. No plan. Just this stupid, impulsive urge to see her. Vee. I told myself I was just checking in, maybe making sure everything was running smoothly—but who was I kidding? The moment I turned the corner and caught sight of her, standing there near the washroom with a folded sheet in her hands and that confused look on her face, I froze. Dead. Like some dumb deer caught in headlights. She blinked. Once. Twice. And I could feel the silence between us grow into something loud and awkward. My mouth parted slightly, but no sound came out. I was the damn Alpha, what the hell was I doing just standing there like an idiot? I wanted to say something. Anything.“Hey.” “How are you?” “You look tired.” Hell, even “Move along.”

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   88. LIKE A BRAND

RAVENI knew he was watching me. Kieran always watched. From the corner window on the east side of the packhouse, behind that damn sheer curtain like it could hide him. But I didn’t look up once. I focused on raking through the herbs stacked in the wooden crates, pretending that every dried leaf I picked out wasn’t screaming with the reminder that his gaze burned into my back like a brand. The more I thought about him, about them—the more I felt this heat build in my chest. That pack. That damned pack of his. All their lies and their legacy of bloodshed. I wanted them gone. Not just punished or weakened—I wanted them erased. Obliterated. Annihilated to the point where no one would even remember they ever walked this land. But I couldn’t let that part of me speak. Not yet. This was too delicate.“Vee,” Rowena’s voice came from behind me, soft but pressed with urgency. She never used my full name unless something was off.I turned slightly, enough for her to know I was listening, even i

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   87. WITH POWER. WITH PROOF

KIERANI sat by the window, arms folded, eyes locked on Selene from across the room as she sat up and reached for her water. There was a softness to her movement that gave me hope—like her bones weren’t aching anymore, like the endless fatigue was slowly fading. Day by day, she was healing, and I could see it, damn near feel it in my chest. But I couldn't celebrate it fully. There was a bitter taste in my mouth, one that came from suspicion I couldn’t shake. It kept gnawing at me—the thought that her recurring illness wasn’t natural. That maybe, just maybe, Vee had been giving her something. I didn’t want to believe it at first. Vee had always seemed... dutiful, loyal in her own chaotic way. But too many things weren’t adding up, and my gut kept screaming. Every time Selene coughed herself to sleep, every time she fainted for no damn reason—I should’ve looked closer, should’ve asked harder questions. Now that she was getting better, now that Vee had been gone for a while, things just

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   86. WHIFF OF SUSPICION

RAVENNow that I had finally been released from the dungeon that Kieran had tossed me into like some diseased mutt, the air outside almost felt foreign. I could still taste the iron in my mouth, feel the sting of the chains around my wrists even though they were gone. I knew better than to assume this meant I was free—no. Kieran was watching, always watching. He didn’t trust me, and truthfully, I didn’t blame him. I wouldn’t trust me either, not with what I had planned. Every move I made now had to be calculated, silent, intentional. I couldn't afford even the faintest whiff of suspicion. So, when I heard the soft knock on my chamber door that night, my breath caught. Three soft raps. A pause. Then two. It was our signal. I rushed to open it, and there she was—Rowena, hood drawn low over her face, cloak soaked from the rain."You're late," I whispered, tugging her inside."I had to make sure I wasn’t followed," she said, voice low, eyes scanning the dimly lit room."Kieran’s guards ar
