“What's going on?” I heard a familiar voice say behind me, her voice had pulled me out of my stunned state. I couldn't believe Aurora had spoken to me angrily and the things she said, they made me feel so guilty I could hit myself.

Deep down, I knew she was right, I was an indecisive asshole, but I had no idea she was that hurt and now I felt like a fool for asking her what her problem was when it was so clear it was me.

“I just saw Aurora storm off and she looked angry, what happened?” Tiffany asked again and then I realized I had zoned out again.

“Um, it's nothing. Don't worry about it." I said as I turned around to look at her with a forced welcoming smile.

“You sure? the atmosphere looked quite tense,” she said, clearly not convinced.

“It’s nothing for you to be worried about.” I said in a dismissive tone and changed the topic immediately , “So what brings you here? I didn't know you were coming today”
