Hunter walked back to her. This time he felt her shudder when he pressed his chest into her back.

Claire hugged her arms but didn't try to move away. Hunter touched her mouth to her ear, not kissing her, but not trying to move his lips away. His hands remained suspended to his sides as if he knew she was praying in her heart for him to keep his hands to himself.

"I realized it that day we had our divorce. Specifically when we were handed our divorce certificates. I was looking at your face. I knew it's wrong. I didn't want to let you go." He paused, his face coming closer so his lips would touch her jaw.

Again, he wasn't kissing her, just keeping his mouth in contact with her skin. Emotions choked Claire's throat. Clogged her mind as misery ran through her veins, causing her skin to turn cold like the surface of a car during tough winters.

"But you still did." Claire stole his chance to speak along with his breaths as she continued, "Not only that... You also let your slút snatc

Ouch, her words sting! I felt bad for Hunter. But it's only the top and the visible part of a glacier, isn't it? What's under the water is also what he deserves to get. His regret will show him many things... Including the fact that money can't buy you the woman you love. Haha. Btw guys, so many readers and yet the book doesn't have a rating:') Can you plz go to the blurb page and leave a review. I would appreciate it. I published this chapter before the target accomplishment. Can you reward me and the book for early update and leave a review? TIA xoxo

Why you are turning every male character into negative or bad? You want to say except for Hunter no man is good for Claire or Claire should not trust or friend with any other male? Then what is need of further chapters if all men are worthless, just send Claire back to Hunter without delay

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 347

347Central Jail,Bloomcrest, Zara’s face glowed in the shaft of light coming through the vent hole in her dark gray prison cell. There was a mattress in the corner, a pot of water next to it, and a plate of rotting food with flies buzzing over it.The sound of skin slapping against skin echoed off the walls alongside shrill groans, while Zara was on her fours in the middle of the room. Her eyes glistened with tears, her lips shaking. She ground her molars to hold back her whimpers of pain. A large and round, neckless man with a huge moustache— that was rounded at the edges— was snapping his hips into hers. He brought his thick hand down on her åss to spank her as a sweat bead trailed down his forehead. He groaned in pleasure, releasing into her."Amazing as always, slút!" He shoved Zara on the hard ground where she flattened with a wince."You have one sexy pússy. Can't get enough of it. So pink and flexible, I can put a long steel rod into it and it'll hungrily swallow it whole."

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 346

346Claire's POV Air was knocked out of my lungs as Hunter squeezed me in his arms. He was shaking, his arms were spasming around me. Small but disturbing sobs erupted from his lips over my shoulder. I held him tight and tried to rub my palm over his back in an attempt to calm him down. "Calm down, Hunter. You are behaving like a baby." I tried to chuckle and it sounded anything but. "You've seen worse than that, haven't you?" He squeezed me tighter as if I was the only one he could rely on. His weight made my knees shake. He was completely clinging to me and I struggled not to dwindle back and forth. As if he understood my struggle, he shifted back to deposit his weight against the car, while I stayed tightled clutched to his chest. "T-they were just children. How can anyone target them? It's not like they could harm anyone. They could barely harm an insect." He sobbed against my shoulder. I tightened my arms around him with everything I had. My arms burned from the strain, but

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 345

345(I forgot to add the TRIGGER Warning in the previous chap. Some readers may find this chapter disturbing. Readers discretion advised!) Claire's back went rigid. Hunter's left side of the shirt was gruesomely drenched with blood, which she knew was his own; his face was gray from concrete dust and he was holding a girl who was all red. Her frock was in tatters, her blonde hair was a dirty red. Hunter looked down to her face and his eyes widened. He kneeled down, patting the girl's face. She was breathing heavily. She clutched his shirt and said something to which Hunter leaned down to listen to her. There was dust in the air, and hence, it was difficult to see her lips moving. However, the next second her hand from Hunter's shirt fell down and her head slid back. She lifelessly stared up at the sky.The reporter was supposed to say something. But he was also caught off guard by how Hunter was frantically patting the girl's face, trying to get her to respond. A team of medics came

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 344

344The sound was very low. Claire pumped up the volume to max and gulped as she heard a male reporter covering the scene. "I'm reporting from outside St. Jacob's High School, where a tragic and heartbreaking bomb blast took place earlier this afternoon. The explosion happened when most students were still in their classrooms!" The reporter turned around to look at the school where dark smoke was still rising from the building. The east part has crumbled and collapsed. The camera zoomed in on the stretchers being rushed behind him. Many from the emergency team were rushing in and out with stretchers occupied by kids, or supporting teachers on their shoulders whose faces were covered with a gray layer of concrete dust; blood trailing from their heads or body. "As of now, we have confirmation that 55 innocent children have lost their lives. The number of injured is still unknown, and emergency teams are working nonstop to search for survivors and provide help." He paused to see a medi

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 343

343The next day was slow and painfully crackling with inevitable sparks between them. Hunter was in heat like an animal. He didn't hesitate to touch her inner thighs, chest, or her hips when they settled down on the table for breakfast. Claire glowered at him in warning many times, and he just shrugged."This is all your fault, okay! You shouldn't have kissed me if you didn't want anything more. You gave me a bite and now I want the whole feast." He said with a hiss and Claire eyed him."So... Should I let you fúck me now?""Absolutely." He said impatiently."You're crazy. I'm going upstairs to eat.""This is not fair, Claire! You shouldn't have started it if you don't want to..." Claire heard his voice fade away as she came sprinting into the living room. She placed a hand on her heart and began catching her breath. Her cheeks were crimson, her skin hot and her thighs thrumming dangerously. She squeezed them together and sat down struggling not to remember the way his fingers fondle

  • Regretting Divorce   Chapter 342

342Claire fisted her hands. This closeness was driving her crazy. With great difficulty she detached herself from him and scooted over to a safe distance."So, you're not shocked knowing that I'm Cara?"Hunter just smiled as a distant memory spilled into his mind. He was taken back in the past, eight months ago, when he first discovered that his wife was the legendary Cara.Flashback…Eight months ago, Hunter was working in his office with a frown. Though his eyes were on the screen of his laptop, his mind was on the recent pictures of Claire and Tyler making rounds on the internet. He was fuming, his mind conjuring images of Claire with Tyler in various positions. Hunter shook his head. He told himself to be positive and optimistic. Yes, he did something wrong, In fact, worse! But that didn't mean it was the end for him. He still had the chance to fix things, learn from it, and become a better person. He just needed to put efforts and push forward because it was going to take lot
