Chapter 18

- Lucian -

I took the cup of tea and walked to the window. I barely had enough sleep last night, and I was still not able to come up with a tangible solution to the matter at hand.

I watched the sun resting beautifully on the lawns and just then, my eyes caught her in the garden.

She was... beautiful, and the sun complemented her beauty. I watched her working almost absent-mindedly as her hands moved over the flowers. I could not help but pick every detail.

He soft face, eyes and lips. Everything was set right, and her slender body was carved like a creative piece of art.

Indeed, it was such a pity she was a slave.

Just then, Damon walked to her and began to engage her in a conversation. Even though her face was down at first, it did not take him anything to lighten it up, and she was all smiles.
