Freya

"Freya!"

Naomi's shrill voice echoed through the washroom before she appeared in the doorway with her arms folded tightly across her chest.

"What the hell is taking you so long just to wash a few toilets?" She clicked her tongue in annoyance before glaring at me with disgust. "Seriously? Even a snail moves faster than you do. Can't you be more agile and efficient?"

The other servants standing behind her burst into laughter.

I didn't respond.

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Life In IronClaw Pack

Freya The day I stepped into IronClaw Pack was the day I truly discovered what hell looked like.Beta Jasper never allowed me to forget why I was there. He made sure that everyone in the pack, both old and young, knew I was a murderer. That label followed me everywhere. No matter what I did...No matter how quietly I lived...No one saw anything else. The Alpha was rarely present in the pack, because of that, Beta Jasper ruled almost everything. If someone asked me to describe him using only one word… Cruel.No. Even that wasn't enough. He was the most heartless and wicked man I had ever encountered.During my first days inside the pack, he had personally ensured I received punishment after punishment. The beatings and whippings had been so merciless that I believed I wouldn't survive them. Only after he seemed satisfied for nearly a week of constant beating and whipping, had he final

She clicked her tongue in annoyance before glaring at me with disgust. "Seriously? Even a snail moves faster than you do. Can't you be more agile and efficient?"The other servants standing behind her burst into laughter.I didn't respond. Instead, I lowered my head and continued scrubbing the cold stone floor around the toilets as though I hadn't heard a single word. That was the safest way to survive here.I had learned that lesson the hard way.Keep your head down.Do your work.Never answer back.Never argue.Never defend yourself. And if luck happened to smile on you... You would be allowed to eat that day. That had become my entire life.

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Back To The Pack

LyraI stood in front of the mirror, slowly smoothing my hands over my dress as I adjusted the waist and straightened the sleeves.A loose strand of hair had escaped from behind my ear, so I tucked it back neatly before taking one last look at my reflection.Everything looked good. At least... I hoped it did.I suddenly heard a laugh behind me. I turned around to find Gwen sitting comfortably on my bed, watching me with an amused grin."You know," she teased, "who would've thought our Ms. Lyra would one day take her appearance this seriously... all because she knows the Alpha is coming back?"I immediately rolled my eyes as I tried my best to sound casual."Oh, please. I'm dressing nicely for myself. Is there something wrong with wanting to look presentable?"Gwen snorted dramatically."Of course not."Then she exaggerated my words in an overly sweet voice."I'm dressing nicely for myself."She burst into another fit of laughter."Only on the exact day Alpha Kael is returning to the P

Kael"The dose I took before you saw me... was the last one. I used it yesterday at Greenwood Pack's border."She lowered her gaze to her trembling hands resting on the blanket as a faint, bitter smile crossed her lips."It's all gone now."Her words lingered heavily in the air.My thoughts were in complete disarray. The more I tried to piece everything together, the more impossible the entire situation became.Countless questions flooded my mind one after another, refusing to settle.I needed to learn more about this serum. Whether the Central Council already knew about its existence or not... I had to uncover the truth. I needed answers, and I needed to understand exactly what was going on."...Kael?" Alara's hesitant voice interrupted my thoughts.I looked at her.She seemed unusually nervous. Her fingers twisted tightly together as if she was gathering every ounce of courage she had left."There... there's something I wanted to ask." She hesitated again. "I know... I know I'm not

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   A Serum?

KaelThe soft sound of pained grunts reached my ears long before I arrived at the room. Each strained breath was followed by a quiet whimper that seemed to echo through the silent hallway.I slowed my steps. The closer I got to the wooden door, the clearer the sounds became... She was trying hard to suppress her pain.Even so, I could hear it.I stopped in front of the door and gently knocked twice. After waiting a few seconds, I slowly pushed the door open.Inside, Healer Deborah stood beside the bed with several bowls of freshly prepared medicine arranged neatly on a nearby table.Alara lay face down on the bed, her upper body covered only by a thin, transparent healing cloth that allowed the medicinal ointment beneath it to seep into her injuries. Both women turned toward me.The moment Healer Deborah saw me, she bowed respectfully."Alpha Kael."I nodded."How is she?""The wounds have been cleaned, Alpha," she answered honestly. "They're healing... far slower than they should. I'

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Alpha Jacob Draven

Kael"So many innocent lives are already being lost," I said, unable to hide the frustration burning inside me. "Adequate measures have to be taken immediately, or else the death toll will only continue to rise. These ferals are spreading faster than ever before. Every day we delay, more packs lose their members, more families are torn apart, and more innocent wolves become victims. We can't keep waiting while the situation grows worse."My voice carried across the massive council chamber where the senior elders representing the Central Council sat around the long circular table, each wearing an unreadable expression. For a brief moment, no one spoke. Then Senior Elder Luke slowly cleared his throat. The elderly man stroked his long white beard thoughtfully before finally speaking in his usual calm, measured voice."Alpha Kael," he began patiently, "I understand your concern, and believe me when I say that every member of this council shares the same concern. We are doing everything w

Kael“Fucking asshole!”I rubbed my temple in irritation as Asher's furious voice exploded inside my head.“Will you shut up already?”The damn mutt had been yelling at me nonstop ever since I left Lyra's room.“No, I won’t shut up!” Asher barked furiously. “What the hell was that?”I shot back, “Y

LyraGrowing up, I had always been told that there was no greater love in the world than the love in a matebond. KaelI couldn’t believe it.Out of all the cruel jokes the Moon Goddess could have played on me, this had to be the worst one yet.Nine years.Nine fucking years of waiting for the woman destined to stand beside me as Luna.My fated mate. And now that I had finally found her…She was wolfless. The

LyraMy whole world collapsed in one night.I sat silently in the backseat of Samuel’s car as the dark road stretched endlessly ahead of us.
