Chapter 34

I tried to turn over on my bed but my shoulder hit a cold hard floor. I snapped my eyes open and sneezed. It wasn’t a dream, it was reality.

I am no longer in my cozy room, nor will I be sleeping on my queen-sized bed, nor will I get to see the Alpha casually again.

“You’re awake,” a voice whispered beside me, tugging on the thin blanket folded around my freezing body.

I craned my neck and groaned as pain shot through my body.

“My Lady, how do you feel?” It was Glacia.

I nodded slowly and wrapped my palm around my neck.

“I…” my stomach rumbled loudly.

Glacia held my hand and helped me sit up. The room I was kept in was very dark, only the snores of people and Glacia’s presence made me believe that I wasn’t back in the dungeon.

“I brought you something to eat before everyone wakes up,” she whispered, nudging a cold metal plate into my hand.

My brows knotted in surprise as I stared at her unseen face.
