These days, I have been so preoccupied that I don't have time for myself anymore, but I decided to make today different from the others.

To achieve this, I woke up very early, then cleaned the whole house before mom woke up.

I did the laundry and then proceeded to make a nice breakfast for us.

When I was done, I grabbed my gym bag, then jogged all the way to the gym down the street for some morning workout.

The workout was going to be strenuous because it had been a while since I last attempted it.

“I will return by 9” I said aloud, struggling to keep up with the pace I had started out with.

Instead of the usual ten minutes I always spent whenever I jogged to the gym, I spent an extra five minutes more.

I fell on the gym floor immediately after I got in.

“And where have you been?” Sammy, the gym instructor, asked as he towered above me.

I was too tired to speak, so I decided to make use of gestures to communicate how drained I was.

He got my words, then began to taunt me.
