Sirena’s POV

I got a little free time in the afternoon so I went to the cafeteria to have a cup of coffee. After ordering, I sat down in one of the empty tables and looked around. People here see me differently and I’ll smile at them to clear the awkwardness. My life history is the hot gossip in the office. Even I caught a couple of co-workers gossiping about me. I didn’t take that offending but still it’s not appropriate. They will speak for some days and then they will eventually forget about that when something else comes up.

Awkwardly waiting for my coffee, I looked around. I didn’t pay attention to what the girls next to me were talking but when I heard the name Xander, I asserted my ears to hear their conversation carefully.

“These days Xander looks incredibly handsome,” one of the girls said. She had a long auburn hair and looked beautiful.
