~Isabella’s POV"Wait, what?" Jonas' face had turned incredulous with shock. All of a sudden, the muscles of his face relaxed, and his shock gave way to bemusement."You are joking, right?” Jones asked, a tentative smile on his face.“Do I look like I’m joking? ~Nathan’s POVIt was getting late and I began to worry about Jones as he hadn't gotten back from where he had gone to. As more and more time passed, my worry and anxiety grew worse. After hours and hours of waiting, I went to bed, but I could not sleep. I tossed right and left on my bed, occasionally checking the time.Soon the bed began to feel too hot, so I went into the shower to take a warm shower. I felt only marginally better and got back into bed, but that didn't last long.Soon, my mind began to race with various thoughts, and I resumed my tossing and turning on the bed. ~Isabella’s POVI awoke with pains in my stomach and vagina. As I sat up, my head hurt and I felt dizzy. I looked around to see where I was as I tried to recollect what happened to me. I looked beside me and noticed Nathan asleep on a couch very close to me. I tried unsuccessfully to stand on my own two feet. I collapsed and yelped in agony. Nathan awoke immediately and hurried to me, worriedly asking if I was okay.“I’m fine, but why are you here? What exactly am I doing here? ~ Damien’s POVIt was too late when I arrived from the Shadow’s pack. I had managed to make a deal with their Alpha. He finally released the captives after he made me sign a contract and that was to allow them trade with us and other packs. He did so because I had control over most of the packs. I was so angry during the entire meeting but my Beta kept whispering to me to keep my cool. The long meeting finally ended and I insisted on returning back to my pack. The Alpha of the shadow pack told me that they had prepared a nice suite for me to stay till the next day, but I turned him down as I don’t know what I might do if I stayed overnight at their pack.I walked so fast as I approached the car. ~Nathan’s POVDamien chasing me out of the room pissed me off but I had to hold back to avoid getting caught so that I would be able to save Bella from him. I thought I had been caught but then he moved away from me. “So I want you to keep watching her and report to me all her daily activities, who she met with and how she relates with them,” he said.I closed my eyes, sighing in relief and then bowed to him, acknowledging his orders. He returned back to sit and continued smoking.“Bella is a good and nice girl but I feel bad for her for meeting someone like me,” Damien said, his expressions unreadable.“Do you agree with others that I’m wicked and ruthless?” He asked, a sad expression spread across his face but was soon replaced with a stoic look.I was silent as I watched him.
